I'm a bit of a grinder myself, so I had no trouble making lots of money in a short time with booty grab. I think my best was like 60k in an hour? 1k per minute.... :cry:

And then that got doubled on the double booty weekend. Man, I hope they do one of those again soon...

I hope they don't honestly. Booty Grab is just pouring more and more money into the system, causing massive inflation. I, for one, am sick of the crazy inflation on Gaia. :sweat:

Is there any way to fix the inflation without causing all the people who don't have millions of gold to be poor and sad? D: I guess they already have Dernier Cri...

@Sizzla It WOULD be nice if the crazy inflation at least slowed down... I hate the fact that all the new items are so pricey. They seem to get pricier with each new RIG. Personally, I hate the RIGs. I know Gaia has to make money, but it's like encouraging kids to gamble >< If you have real money to spend they're a quick way of making gold, though, since a bundle in the first couple of days sells for like 1 mil. Have you noticed that the bundles have gone down from 12-per-bundle to 9-per-bundle, though? Subtle, Gaia. Really subtle. >3>

I'm pretty sure the RIGged box bundles were always nine packs.

Gaia is basically starting to favor people who have enough real-life money to buy all of these overly expensive Cash Shop items. I know, they need money to support their servers and all their new advancements, but there's a point where everything gets out of hand. The only people with gold on Gaia are people who can either manipulate the system or have a lot of money to toss at virtual pixels (which means that they probably have A LOT of extra money).

Honestly, I think the only way to stop the insane inflation at this point would probably be to take away everyone's gold or shove them all to like 100k or something, and just let it sit there. People would no longer be able to afford all those bigger items. Heck, they'd have to take away all of those really old, expensive items too, because people would still be able to trade and buy by liquidating those. But that would make the greater majority of Gaians furious--heck, it might annoy me too, even though I don't really have much in the way of gold.

In short, without angering people, I think Gaia's inflation is beyond controlling. I just wish they would stop making it worse. And by focusing on the Cash Shop, they really ARE making things worse. Dernier Cri obviously isn't working, though it might help if it was updated with gold-based EIs or RIGs, and if it was updated more than every few months or so. >< The insane inflation started with the introduction of the Cash Shop, and only got worse with addition of those expensive RIGs...

Does this site look alot like Solia and Gaia Online?
To me it looks quite similar.
And If I get the banhammer for this, than thats pretty sad.

Personally, I prefer this site to Gaia. Gaia seems to have gotten really out of hand. I used to play on it some back in middle school, but I went back recently and it's crazy. It seems to have become overcrowded with users and things to do...kind of like the NYC of avatar sites, I guess. Yes, this may be similar...but it's smaller and definitely not overloaded.

Well, it IS the internet. You can't honestly expect there to be some magical troll-free zone. XD And so far, it's been alright. Perhaps in a year or two it might explode, like Gaia did, but for now, it's nice to just chill and enjoy what there is, right?

lol, this site has been around for YEARS. The only trolls it gets are people bored of Gaia and feel like being jerks.

I know right? D: My friend is a huge Lady Gaga fan and after seeing the new RIG items inspired by her and seeing the price on it, he's not happy with them. =_=;

The only two effective ways I can think of with enough dedication is Booty Grab and the good ol' fashioned vending.

Thing is, I'm not a good vendor and I can only play so much Booty Grab. x-x I prefer playing games to get gold, like here (I love Tetris +_+). Er, well I take that back, I guess Booty Grab is considered a mini-game, but it's like... the only effective one. x-x

I don't like Booty Grab...it takes too long to make a decent amount of gold. I can make 500 gold here in half an hour with Harbor Fishing. : D
