Reddit is a site similar to Digg. Lots of interesting topics discussed in a huge community. It's a bit hard to explain, so I would just go check it out. It's basically a huge message board though.

Well, I don't care for alcohol. I'm 23, but have no desire to drink anything. My drinks of choice are a skinny vanilla latte and soda. I try to drink low calorie, zero calorie, or diet soda if I can.

I want to make a wishlist too. I will take forever going through all the stores looking for commons though.

@mewmew: I don't drink much either, but I feel like at our age, most people need to drink at least a little/go out to the bars to socialize. :)

I prefer to socialize at the coffee shop, especially ones inside book stores!

Siri: You don't have to drink at all to have a social life. You can find other ways to make friends and socialize and have fun. Go shopping, go to the beach, go bowling, play pool, etc.

I used to go out more but this year everyone seems to have been crazy busy with university.

You can go to bars/clubs and not drink as well, one of my friends can't drink alcohol and still comes out with us but none of us go out specifically to get drunk anyway.

Oh, I know! I go shopping and hang out at restaurants, etc too. But I feel like bars are the place to meet lots of new people at once. Most people celebrate their birthdays with dinner and then the bars and it's tough to miss out on that. But that's just me. I knew some people who didn't go out to drink ever and they seemed okay too.

You can go to a bar and get non-alcoholic mixers, like virgin margaritas or just stick with the classic soda.

I've never been to a bar though really.

I love the bars in the summer on campus. They're not as rowdy and it's so nice sitting outside in the warm weather.
