Léan frowned, worried about the shark. "...Perhaps we should see if there is any fish down in the kitchen...fresh fish. We should feed the shark before we go down. I'll bet he's hungry."

"I'll take a walk down there and ask," Glory replied. "If nothing else, I'm sure there's a market not too far away that'll be selling something."

Léan nodded, relieved. He was aware of how much sharks ate, and was worried the shark would starve if they didn't feed it something, at least.

"Let me know when you want to get out of the pool," Glory said. She had a feeling it would be fairly soon, but she still had to say it.

"I am ready whenever you are," Léan replied, simply. He didn't mind staying here a bit longer, if she wanted to. He wasn't quite ready to move yet.

"I guess we're both too comfortable to want to go anywhere," Glory said. She didn't want to move, either. It was too nice to move, being in his arms.

"Not a problem. We can move when we're ready..." Léan closed his eyes again, quite comfortable where he was. He had the hints of a smile on his face.

"Sounds good to me," Glory said, making herself comfortable. She cuddled a little more into the embrace.

Léan wasn't fond of cuddling--even when he'd been a baby, he wouldn't cuddle--but he shifted a bit closer, more into the embrace.

Glory noticed how he hesitated slightly before he moved closer to her.

"You don't have to force yourself, you know," she said softly. "I'll back off if you want me to."

Léan shook his head. "No, no...I'm all right. I'm not used to being close to people." He grumbled, suddenly. "Except Arcturus. But that contact is usually from his irritating hanging on me, and dunking..."

"In case you haven't noticed by now," Glory teased, "I'm not your brother, something I'm sure we're both grateful for."

"I'm quite grateful. A vacation from him is something I needed. Especially since Damon can't keep up to play with him, currently..." Léan stretched himself out a bit more. "He would be all over me...gah..."

"That's just how he is," Glory said. "I wouldn't mind playing with him, if I thought I'd be able to get a decent breath in edgewise."

Léan nodded, idly. He was well aware that Arcturus rarely stopped moving...ever. He was constantly on the move, constantly wanting to do something. High-maintenance, for sure. He fell silent again, simply enjoying the company.

Glory leaned against him, enjoying the quiet and the company. Soon, though, she started to shiver a bit.

"Alright," she said reluctantly, "I think it's time for me to get out. I'm starting to get cold."

Léan nodded, and slowly backed away to give her space to get out. His movements were reluctant, like he didn't want to let go. And he didn't.

Glory reluctantly slipped from his arms and made her way to the side of the pool.

"Come on," she said. "Once I make a run to the kitchen to see if there's anything for the shark, then we can go outside where it's warmer and there's actual space and real ocean."

Léan pulled himself up onto the side of the pool. He shook himself off. "I don't want to make the suitcase any wetter than it is...why don't you run down to the kitchen first and pick me up on your way back outside? It will give me time to dry."

"Are you sure?" Glory asked. She didn't want to take the chance that someone would walk in and see him...

"I should be all right. No one is in the house," Léan murmured. "...That isn't asleep, anyway." He shook his head, then nodded. "Go ahead. Take your time."

Glory hesitated.

"Alright, if you're sure..." she said reluctantly. She didn't want to leave him alone, and she definitely didn't want to stray far from him. She enjoyed being with him too much.

"I'm sure...I don't want the suitcase being soaked. It would look even more suspicious than it already does," Léan replied. He sounded hesitant, as well. But, he did want to dry off before getting in the suitcase. They didn't need it breaking, after all. He needed to get home, still.

"Alright," Glory said. Kneeling down, she hugged him again. She enjoyed being in his arms very much.

Léan returned the hug without hesitation, this time. It seemed he was used to hugging, by now. That was a good sign...
