Ava the vampire ah okay, that's nice that you have been caring for the animals by being vegetarian <3 and so I guess it isn't too dramatic of a shift to just cut out things like dairy products to be vegan.

llonka good for you too ^_^ <3 yay veggies!

It is sad that they are treated that way but I think it is for efficiency purposes. And I mean in those crowded factories, not in those nice farms where there is a lot of space for the animals to be happy

The livestock around here have it made. Free range chickens, the cows and horses graze in pastures.
Buying locals the best thing I can do.

Yeah buying local is way better.
I feel like some of the torture the factory animals suffer is "necessary" but a lot of it is just cruel and does NOT need to happen.
I just hate that animals are treated like that for the sake of someone eating them. I used to not mind eating animals but now whenever I think of eating an animal I imagine seeing it dead and its a dead body that I'm going to eat. And I'm very squeamish about dead things.

But that's me. If people ask me why I don't eat meat that is what I tell them. Also I feel better when I don't eat meat. C:

That is good, and yes it is sad about the cruelty that happens to these poor animals in factories

To break oneself from something is a way people say quit! Stop the addiction! Break the habit!

Why not, Kirin?

I just talked about Mama Vampire on another forum, my mom went on a 60 day juice fast and lost about 50lbs during the 60 days, then after that, she started eating only fruits, vegetables, nuts and beans while still juicing and she lost about 80lbs altogether. Yeah, so, she did that and someone said,

"These fad diets don't work unless you change your way of eating permanently."

And I was like, "Yeah, that's what mom did. Before the fast, my mom was addicted to sugar, chocolate, cakes, etc. But after the fast, she stopped eating chocolate, ate more fruits and veggies, limited her meat by a lot, and went completely organic."

I don't think juicing is a "fad diet". I mean, eating fruits and veggies and detoxing your body is never a "fad", neither is being vegan, it's not a "fad" to eat healthy, it's ALWAYS going to be in style to eat fruits and veggies. D:

So yeah, there's my two cents of the day.

Remember, friends, it's always going to be good to eat healthy.

Is spring break coming up soon?

I never know when spring break is because the daycare where I work stays open during spring break. :s
I mean, seriously, I understand that most jobs don't give you a spring break, but my only question is, what are these parents going to do when their child grows up and goes to kindergarten and they have spring break?! What are they GONNA DO?!

What are you doing for spring break, diana? :)

I don't get a spring break. :c But last year I did go on a trip to California during the spring. It wasn't exactly, "spring break", though, we were looking at apartments because we're moving to California this year.

I hope you're having a good break, diana.

What is everyone else doing for spring break, if you have one?

As long as chicken and bacon are so good, I couldn't, either.

I was talking to myself a few minutes ago... (Don't laugh)
And my self was like, "Hey, Ava? Why don't you eat animals?"

And I said, "Well, self, it's partially because I do love animals and I couldn't kill them if I tried... but it's more because I am so afraid of dead things that I can't eat anything dead that looks like an animal or has flesh and a beating heart at one point. I am just too scared of death to eat something dead."

And then my self said, "Hey, Ava? You are even scared of dead plants.... how can you eat those???"

And I was like, "Well, self, I have to eat SOMETHING and dead plants don't look dead... they are still vibrant and colorful! Not like dead animals..."

So there was the conversation I had with myself.

Oh, you even tackled the classic "sorry, vegetarians, but plants are alive, too."

Talk to yo' self all you want. Just don't think you can rival the Jouska Queen.

Yeah...
I watched a really sick trailer for a "movie" called "Sausage Party" and now I'm traumatized. I don't want to eat baby carrots anymore.... And just food in general.
It looked like a stupid movie, though.

I don't know who the Jouska Queen is.

The name sounds like a cute, silly, movie for kids...
And that's how it LOOKS because it's animated... BUT THAT SHIT WAS SO FUCKED UP.
I was appalled.

Oh. c:
Well, now I know. What's a Jouska?
