Well, I need an excuse to post around, so I can get money by posting - it doesn't seen too much, but I may be too spoiled from Gaia, as i remember being tough getting gold back in the day.

So, let me try this thread for now.

I know, I like this site better than Gaia because it isn't as money hungry and it seems like it cares about it's users!

Well, unfortunately, what is happening to Gaia is something I predicted a long ago. Money makes the world go around, and to do something good, you will need it. It can be helped.

lol hello ^_^ and it certainly does seem less money hungry. Gaia has gone too..commercial for my tastes @_@ ads everywhere, having to pay real money for fake items. I mean I didn't mind it when it was just the monthly donation, but now just for random items you have to pay money. it makes no sense. Not to mention they took up that phony "gold making scheme" of filling out surveys and such which are mostly breeding grounds for viruses.

i agree with the gaia money hunger thing :3 I actually use to play gaia too.

Well, Gaia backing out of their new commercial way its the kind of change that won't happen. Well, for now, we still have Tektek to play there. When they force Tektek out of the web, then you will know Gaia is lost to greed for sure.

I haven't gathered a lot of money.
Just enough for a change in clothes,
I never end up keeping the items.
Cause usually I have to sell them
to get the whole lot of money back.

I haven't used tektek much ^^; so I'm unfamiliar with that. I think I used it a couple times to get an outfit together I wanted to quest for then that was about it. But I also just hang out in one spot while I'm there. I don't really roam the site much especially since many users are... less that desirable to be around.

@eCrink when we make a shop how much do you think i should charge :?

I did spent some money in the past, way before Gaia Battle take shape. I wanted it as any oldbie in there. Now it was here... and was barely what we waited. By little it did not missed the point. I won't spend any money back in Gaia, ever again. I don't have any reason.

Truth be told, I have no great reason to stay around this place as well. I am guided by raw curiosity - and a certain nostalgy, as this place reminds me of old Gaia.

Tektek, specially the Dream Avatar option, was made to be an Avatar simulator, but taking in consideration Gaian's tradition of making the most of their avatars, Tektek is way more that a doll program and close to a sandbox. It is a nice toy to play.
