@Spunky: Well in Scotland you're legally an adult as sixteen so he will be tried as an adult and he will be going to jail. His actual trial is still waiting to happen so he's been tagged and has a 7pm to 7am curfew until that happens.

some people are just crazy! how can they even do that?? you can drop off a baby at a police station, no questions asked. or a church or a fire station. it's the law they can't do anything. you can even drop one off at a hospital. there is no reason to throw away a life!
