Nothing too much for me. Mainly I'm in Nebraska until Tuesday for a bridal shower my sister is having, which gives me a chance to spend time with my best friend here. XD

I hope it went well. Theres a baby shower for my cousin in two months.

Nothing really . . . okay I lied. Theres a lot going on that I'm freaking, stressing, and panicking about.

Things went rather well, except for the fact that only two people showed up to my sister's shower, and they were our mom's friends that we call our aunt and her niece. One of her uncles came to say that her actual blood aunts wouldn't be able to make it, because one fell and couldn't walk that day due to her MS, and the other had been sick for awhile. Other than that none of her friends or any other members of her family came. So the shower for her was disappointing, but at least she got to spend a few days with her best friend who's the Maid of Honor and was one of the ones who was in charge of the shower.

I hope the baby shower goes well for your cousin and congrats to her too. ^.^

Oh wow. I would have felt really down if I were her. But thankfully her bestie was there. In all I think that was the most important person there for her.

School stuff. Need to find a second job and save money for when I transfer colleges this fall. My current job isn't giving me enough hours to let me do that. Two days a week, four hours each day, $8.00 minimum wage. Take out all the taxes and what am I left with for each paycheck? Just under or just over $100 friggin' dollars. FOR TWO WEEKS PAY!

I think so too. It just sucks since my sister is one of those types of people that will take that as a reflection of her. And she did, in which I told her that it wasn't and that everyone else was just a bastard. XD

I'm sure though that things should go well for her. Baby showers can be rather fun. ^.^

That sucks. And they don't seem willing to give you a few more hours at least or even a raise? $100 isn't even enough to live off of anymore so I would think that they would be willing to either give you more hours or at least a raise since the price of living is constantly increasing. Hopefully if they refuse though you'll be able to find a second job that will help, not stress you out as much, and will be rather flexible.

It's not a reflection of her, but rather a reflection of the other folks. Now it's just a matter of will they show up to the wedding. >.>

Well, my parents are paying for my college and gas, but I need to save up money, thus the hunt for a second maybe third job. Even in my availability I have myself stated as being available four-five days a week . . . .

I know right? For a while there she was tempted to simply not invite any of them to the wedding. Due to this little incident she's not even sure if they will come to the wedding and has lost expectations of them. Unfortunately she's also the kind of person where if you do something wrong, even if it's small like tell a white lie for a present or something, she will hold it against you for a long time. Of course I wouldn't blame her this time.

At least you are getting some help with college and gas then. With the job economy it might be hard to find a third job, especially with school, but not impossible. Hopefully you won't need a third one though, otherwise you might wear yourself completely out. With your availability it's always good to keep trying to convince your job to give you a few more hours and maybe add on another day since they're only giving you four.

I would be too. It's one of the more important dates in her life up to this point. By them not showing up, that says that they aren't supportive or that they just don't care.

*nocks wooden table* Ironically enough, I've always had an easy time finding jobs . . . it's just a matter of whether their hiring or not. A lot of people in my family are like that.

Yeah or that she just isn't high on their priority list. The even worst part about it is that there were probably only five regrets sent out of twenty five to thirty people. One of her cousin's that she was really close to, and facebook friends with, said that she was even going fishing that day. My sister of course wouldn't have known had she not posted it on her facebook status thingy. It took a lot for the Maid of Honor and I not to go buy some baseball bats and start pounding on doors to demand a few answers. And even now I don't think that many people even apologized for not showing up or saying anything.

Nice, I wish I had similar luck. XD It took me about a year to find the job I have now. >< I guess thank god for snagajob.com. XD The town I live in is rather small and so when there's job available it's almost like everyone rushes to get it all at once. ><

Lol I know right? It's almost impossible, though not completely, to get a job once its started hiring. I just got lucky that the place I applied to was hiring a massive amount of people. XD

Lol ty. This is the longest holding job I've had yet since I'm not moving out of state any time soon nor is it a seasonal job. ^.^

I only got my job because I had worked in a pharmacy in high school, and I only got that because I was the only one that passed the drug test! But hopefully your less stressed out now than when you were.
