Oh, been a long day. I'm subbing at the school all week, and I had well over 20 kids on my own today. Was supposed to just have 4th graders, but they suddenly sent all the 3rd graders my way, too, and then once I finally got down to 10 kids, they sent over the rest of the 5th graders. @__@;; And it was over 100 degrees today and I was working on very little food. So a bit worn out and starving right now. I had to sit down for a bit in class because I started to feel sick. Too much moving around and yelling. And I gotta headache.

Plus, I just found out from my mom that my grandpa passed away today. :/

Me too, Kiako.
I wasn't that close to him, and I never really saw him (he was a very grumpy old man), so its not really hitting me hard, but its still quite sad. My mom said my dad is just in pieces and is heading straight home from work. :/ They'll lbe going up to my uncles tomorrow, but I most likely can't go with because I have school and work.

I'm sorry for your family's loss, Suona.

:( My nana passed in January, she was a bitter old woman suffering from later stages of dementia. But my poor grandpa was so heartbroken.

Thank you, monstah.

Yeah, my grandma passed over a year ago, and my dad said it was the first time he can ever remember seeing my grandpa cry. Even though he was a bitter old man, he did really love her, and they'd been together for many many years.

----------

@ Randeh - lol Lots of yelling. ><;; They were seriously roudy. I haven't worked there in a long time, and have been on the sub list for quite some time, too. They happened to have this week free and called me in, so i'm still trying to get the hang of things again. Having so many kids today was a major handful with not being use to everything. And it doesn't help that they're an older grade than i'm use to. I use to work with K-1.

And thank you

What, with the kids?
They just load them on. The reason they brought me in in the first place was because the teacher that usually has the 4th and 5th graders tends to have well over 20 students. So that she wouldn't be so crammed with students, and I was only supposed to have the 4th graders. Well, I get to work and suddenly "SUPRISE! You're taking all the 3rd graders, too." I was thinking okay, whatever, but then they all showed up and I had a huge class that was not behaving at all. Such brats. I had to send one kid to the office because he wouldn't listen and kept repeating the same question over and over, but i'm pretty sure that he was challenged. The 3rd graders had already done the activity that I had planned for my 4th grade class, so they weren't going to cooperate in doing it, so we just went with a movie and games. haha.

I don't think I could be a teacher of elementary schoolers.
I'd want to beat them. D: /doesn't do well with lots of kids not listening, one or two is fine, like I'm a good babysitter, but more than that? I get frustrated and want to smack them.

I think that they are more ill-behaved in the after school program than in their normal class. They tend to listen to teachers a lot more.

I actually feel a little bad. For one of the boys who had been behaving badly, I spoke to his grandma when she picked him up and said that he wasn't behaving today. She asked what he'd been doing, and she got my name from me because she was going to make sure he got punished when they got home and was going to make him do sentences with my name. @__@;; I was meaning to talk to all the parents of the ill-behaving kids, because I threatened them with it in class and said if they didn't mind i'd talk to who picked them up, but usually I was so busy with other students that I barely could catch the kids that were leaving to have them sign out before they left.

That's insane Su. You're a real champ, I can't stand kids at all and would never have the patience D:

That's also crazy of that person to make the kid right lines with your name...he isn't going to suddenly like being around you D: Why can't people see that?! Gah!
