Yeah. Well, the flyswatter and the newspaper she's afraid of because she was severely beaten as a puppy. The other two she just doesn't like. 
It's funny, though. I have one abused rescue and one show dog. And the show dog hates everyone new and the abused puppy thinks everyone is her best friend forever.

Yeah, she's had a very good life since then. I can't imagine what kind of person looks at something that small and can justify hitting it. I mean, I got her at six months, and she was only six pounds then. But he was a wife beater too. That's how I got her. The wife left and took the dog, but there aren't any dog friendly women's shelters around here.

Yeah. But if you think about it another way, a big dog could easily maul you, but chooses not to. And hitting it even tho it refuses to hurt you is equally awful.
