takaya has a manga out called hoshi wa utau and it's pretty good... i read it online :yes: there are some really interesting characters in there too and of course some secrets, cause what's one of her stories without some secrets!? :D

rit-chan-san is a great character! he really does look better in in furisodes then in man clothes... but i am glad that he found someone he likes in shigure's editor or whatever she was... i forget her name :sweat:

I don't remember the editor's real name, but people call her Mitchan. (And so Tohru calls her Mitchan-san... a bit like how she calls Ritsu Ritchan-san)
Ritchan and Mitchan's first meeting was so funny and sweet at the same time!! They are completely perfect for one another.

I just remember her name because it's Ritchan but with an "m" instead of an "r". ^^

The chapter where they went to the Haunted House!!! Tohru got so scared and started walking around with her eyes closed, so Yuki and Kyo simultaneously offered their hands, started arguing, and Momiji ended up holding her hand instead!

hehehe momiji! such a cutie... i wish that there was someone for him in the story, but i don't think he'd have trouble finding someone to love him and someone for him to love cause he is just the cutest boy ever!

I love the way he's always holding hands with Tohru, but when he's older it makes them look like a couple! ^^
And in the Haunted House it's Haru who gets rid of Tohru's fear by telling her and Momiji a story about one of the ghosts

and then he rips the head off the long neck creeper lady :rofl: and they get into trouble for it!

tohru and momiji do look like a cute couple but i don't see them as a couple at all... sorry momiji!

No, I love the pairing Kyo x Tohru too much to pair her with Momiji. But I'm sure he'll find another girl, he won't find it difficult at all.
I loved it when one of the staff came along to tell them off for breaking things, and then they told him the story and he started crying too! :rofl:

hmmm i don't think i remember that... i remember when haru was destroying things and kyo went in to tell him off and the teacher that hooks up with hatori (don't remember her name) dumps water on them ....... i also remember when machi destroyed things too......

The teacher's name is Mayuko. I'm glad that she ended up with Hatori int he end, because he really needed someone to help him get over Kana. And I prefer Mayu to Kana anyway.

and i think hatori was over kana before he and mayu got together but he thought that he didn't deserve anyone else ever again so he was eternally sad... until shigure concocted a plan to have hatori go to the book store ;)

Even if he was over Kana, I'm glad he got to be with someone in the end. It would break my heart if he was all lonely forvever :cry:

i think that is why i like shigure... not to mention he is really funny :)
i am also very glad that he got to be with someone he loved in the end... i think i mentioned this before, that he is my favorite character so i want him to be very happy!!

Although he is easy to like. He's funny, cunning and can be a bit evil sometimes. I also love the way he manipulates Tohru :)

hehe i like the way the whole thing ended in the manga. not so much in the anime. as far as my favorite charactors that's a tossup between the trio of ayame, shigure, and hatori or rin, kyo, and momji, and hatsuharu.

@roze: i am year of the boar... but i really don't like kagura that much... cause i think to myself, 'do i act like that?' hehehe i hope not!

@aishaleigh: the manga ending is far superior to the the anime non-ending, as i like to call it...nothing is resolved so there is really no ending :( and you like the mabudachi trio, huh? awesome! :D me too!

true. i wonder if they are gonna have a second season of fruits basket or not. hehe yep.

i hope they do... cause it's such a good story to end like that

I'm not really like Shigure, but I still love him!
I'm not too keen on Kagura myself, but I don't really dislike her, if you know what I mean?
I hope tehy do a second series, but I have a feeling they won't

true :hugs: it was one of the first mangas that i have the complete set too. the other ones being Ai Yori Aoshi by Kou Fumizuki along with Wish by Clamp.
