*snugs Valen* Probably. I give my cat pillows and beds and blankets to sleep on and she sleeps on a pile of papers I'm working on instead. Silly kitty.

Aww. *hugs* I've constantly told my cat that she has to live to be 50. Sophie is an American Medium Hair. She has tabby stripes and bullseyes, and lots of different colorings. I keep meaning to put her on here, maybe I should make all my banners from pictures of her. *grins*

Okay, then I've got some questions.
Liiike... once you get a job in interior design, where exactly would you be working? Are there lots of designing services you could go to work for, or would you need to open your own business?
You'll definitely have to get some pictures of her! I love seeing pretty kitties. :D

Oh, start with a hard one! *grins* One of the BEST things about interior design is all the different things you can do with it. Most designers eventually start their own firms, but at first most everyone works for someone else. As for WHERE a designer works, so many choices. You can work in a firm that designs from concept to final construction, you can work in a furniture like IKEA (one of the top designer employers), you can work in a showroom that works with the public or just with designers (and there are as many showrooms as products, tile, fabric, rugs, furniture, you name it, there's a showroom for it, typically by company). There are also a lot of different types of just design, residental and commerical are the big ones, but there's also hospitality, retail, healthcare, education, green, and so many other things. So many choices. Me, I want to try out IKEA, a tile showroom, and high-end residential design firms. As I said, one of the best things is the fact that you can change and do something COMPLETELY different, and still be in the field of interior design.
Also, here, check these two sites out:

*grins* Remind me this weekend and I'll get some up.

Actually dad insisted. :/ I wanted to study something related to art "let it be your hobby instead of work" he said. But I guess I'll end up letting art be my job XDDDDD

Yup ^^<3 That's what I believe too. I'd prefer working with sth art related to working in a safe office job with a high monthly salary job.
yeah, second sounds tempting though <.<

So I got the assignment sheet for my next project, a place or worship. We're building a place for a small group of people that worship spirits in everything. My particular choice is water. So now I have to think of water and what it is and drag concepts out of it. Currently I'm focusing more on the life aspect of it, and purity.
Anyone have any other ideas?

Let me brainstorm aloud.
Water gives life, energy. It's pure, delicate, easily bent at will. Powerful and also soft to the touch, cooling and refreshing on the skin. Running water sound is calming, peaceful.
Honestly first words come to my mind about water are; peaceful music of water, delicacy of droplets, and purity of water itself.
May I suggest you to use those string waterfalls? They're actually thin, hard and glass-like tubes. Water travels inside the tubes to ceiling, and a mechanism lets small amounts of water fall down over the tube. Making it look like waterdrops are falling down from above. Small ponds of half glass spheres perhaps attached to wall or standing on floor? Water can travel between each. If this is somewhat a shrine, it requires a certain level of silence.
I just love throwing around ideas, hope any of these can help you. ^^

Yea, I'm thinking along those lines. Thanks for the ideas. *grins* I have to have two different concepts for class on Friday and I'm definitely looking at the purity one, but also maybe at the shear destructive force as well. *grins* So many ways to take it.

*grins* And yes, serious title, but *shrugs*
NCIS: LA is a TV show that just showed a new episode that I'm re-watching now. *grins* Spelled out it's Naval Criminal Investigative Service: Los Angeles. It's a new one this year only 17 episodes, but I'm in love. *grins* *dance*
The Sam/G/Kensi thing is my fanish dreaming. Sam and G are the two main partners of the team, Kensi is currently unpartnered because hers was kidnapped and they haven't replaced him yet. But they're all so totally together. *grins*

It's love Valen! *grins* Of course I am a slash fangirl and if you get me started I won't shut up, but I _LOVE_ this show!~ *grins* There's only one episode that I haven't liked so far and that's last weeks Chinatown. It feels like there was a ghost writer that tried to fuck everything up. *shrugs* But the rest of them are GREAT! *grins*

*flops in on her own thread* Wow I just sorta disappeared there for a while. *grins* Spring Break was nice. Sleep, reading, cat. Now I realize that I really should have spent more of it working on homework. Oops. *sighs* Oh well. *gets down to work* And I still have to do a load of laundry. And dishes. And shop for food. Hmm... *sighs* Oh well.
How's everyone else?
