I have a question about the flowers, bugs, and trash in towns, along with the inks that you can make, etc...

Is the MP the only place to sell stuff?
Otherwise, how do you make the flowers and bugs and trash pay?

I've been looking through the MP, and the bouquets run from 1G through 300,000 gold...and one that said 300,000 was a simple pink carnation bouquet with a black ribbon. I have plenty of pink carnations and black ink... but I think it only said 300K because nobody was interested in buying a bouquet.

So where else can this stuff be sold? If the stores don't buy them, then you can't guarantee you'll get $$ for all the traipsing about towns.

I have to say that I think flowers and trash are pretty worthless. The only thing worthwhile in Towns are bugs so that you can make ink. Otherwise, you're not going to get anything back from picking up trash and grabbing flowers. I made all of the hats I wanted with my trash, and I buy bouquets if I need them because they're ridiculously cheap. I don't even bother with Towns at this point...

Dang. That's what I was afraid of.

I wish they'd let you sell bouquets to the stores or something like that.
Then you'd at least have a source of gold from the towns. (Besides shaking the trees that is).

How do you get gold ink?

I think there's a combination of different inks you need to make gold ink. Have you looked at tektek.org? They have some of that info there... I'd look, but the baby is yelling at me!

I can't remember the combo for gold ink, I'm fairly sure it involves at least one bottle of white ink though, it's a price ink to create. I'm pretty sure that if you have enough inks to make new colours it shows you your options in the tattoo shop, doesn't it? Or maybe only Moira can give the different colours...

It's been a good two years since I messed with the ink so I can't remember.

What are your plans for the gold ink, Elmira? Tattoo or flower-wrapping?

So I haven't created any inks yet...

I'm assuming that Red Ink comes from the red bugs (butterflies, dragonflies, red beetle). Yellow, blue, green and brown from their respective color bugs.

How do you get Black ink and white ink?

(Man, but those dragonflies are *tough* to catch...at least the house flies land once in awhile)

yellow + white = gold
blue+red+yellow = white (or it may be blue+red+green, but that seems less likely since you need blue/yellow for green)
Black comes from black flies or other black bugs. It's the easiest to get. :D

It never gave me the chance to make different colors. Hmm....I'm going to have to go look at that again.. I have Black, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow ink right now.

Black crickets are easy to catch.
But those dang houseflies. They land, and by the time I get to them, they're flying away again.

You might not have enough of each ink to make the ones that require multiple inks... But they should show up at the bottom of the list of tattoos that you can create. There'll just be little ink bottles at the very bottom. :yes:

Yeah, you'll only get the option to make the ink shades if you have enough colours available. I thought I had some gold ink on one of my accounts still, but after having checked I can see that I sold all my ink off. Apart from maybe a bottle of pink that I want to keep just because it's pretty <.< >.>

Wish you could put the ink on shelves in your house.

I am suprised that you can't hehe I would want to out a blue bass in my house, like those annoying singing ones that you get in real life.

I was just looking again. I see what the problem is...I don't have any white ink. Which bugs are for white? I don't think I've ever caught any white bugs..

I think there is a rare bug that will give you a white bug but I am not sure, otherwise you just have to get it from the daily chance.

You have to mix other inks to get white.

If you have enough, the white ink will show up down at the bottom of the tattoo selections. Click on it and it will show you which of the bottles you have are needed to make it. I'm fairly sure it's about 5 bottles of different colours for 1 bottle of white.
