It's a bit faint in color, Andom, but I can read it.

I was pretty lucky. My parents didn't pay for my education, but we have a state uni in the town I currently live in. I was able to qualify for state scholarships, financial aid (please don't ask me how much I owe in loans :gonk:) and major-specific scholarships. You may qualify for smaller scholarships at whichever uni you prefer. Take a look to see what they require - some require a certain number of hours in the major before you can apply, while others will help people who are entering their first term.

I should be grateful we have the ability... But we are losing money quickly... my brother needing a lot of money to go to Illinois, my mom taking so many trips, shopping for more than we need, shopping for another house, other school expenses.
I suppose I'm just paranoid.... But I can't shake that feeling.

I'm having issues paying for college as well.
I mean I have a full ride scholarship to a school I don't want to go to.
So instead I'm going to community college, though I'll have to transfer into that other school in a year. @_@

@Angel: That cheesecake was godly. My cousin and I kept joking that Zues would swoop in and take it away. :XD

I also went to a state university. I fortunately had some scholarships, because my parents couldn't pay anything. Between that, work study, and loans I made it through. It did take me 10 years to pay off the loans, but it was well worth it.

Universities are much more expensive now, and the cost of books is terrible!

My grad school was under $2k a semester for tuition and fees. If I lived on campus, it would have been a lot more. Books were easily $200-500+ a semester. Loans were needed so I could stay in school and keep a roof over my family's head. I had a fellowship, but that really only covered my medical insurance.

@yuen - it was your bee hat that made me realise the easter event was on. XD

@dream - i did, in fact, see the comment about my sig.
and would add it, but for the four-line limit.
... good to know i have an anagram solver as a friend. =_=;;;

@granny - oh, the eternal battle between ut and a&m. my mom and i still make fun of the amount of burnt orange cars and little longhorn car emblems around the city.

CHEESECAKE, THE DELICIOUS.
instead, we had shortcake. strawberry shortcake.
like what i made with mom last week. XDDD

college...
i want to go to uni, but i'm waiting til i actually know what i want to do. @_@

Tireth, I also found out about the event from Yuen, when I saw her beautiful bee hat. I had wondered where she got it, and she said from the event store!

Oh Elmira, I even hate to say how much my university cost. It was about a tenth of what you're quoting.

@tireth: I actually clicked the event store accidentally and saw it was open =3

omggg. i'm so full. But yet. I'm eating ice cream cake.
I didn't really have an "Easter" dinner.
We went out to eat.
Maybe tomorrow or this week I'll go find some cheap easter candy on sale.

I just had plain chocolate cake, nothing special like cheese cake XD

But yes, even public universities are expensive. Its because the government is continually cutting school budgets, leaving me and my friends in a tight spot at our high school AND towards college. I would go to the private school if it meant I could get a better education, but I would miss my friends and my family could NEVER come close to affording to sending me to the private school. D:

My boyfriends college is close to 72k a year. Without dorming because there are no dorms, he has to get an apartment. I feel really bad for him.

@leenie: Does the wild leenie counter? xD

@Yuen: In case you're wondering you where also involved. :XD
"A wild leenie has appeared! Dream attacks with lick ! Yuen hurts itself in confusion!"

Because secretly I am a childish nerd.
By the way, on the subject of anagrams, Dram and Die anagrams to "I am dead nerd." ^_^

Thank you dear!
Yours is very sweet also!

I may "tinker" a bit with the scarves. They seem to be blocking the wings too much. (And then I can't fly very well, can I?)

I love anagrams, but I can only do them when I'm not paying attention. XD
Does that make sense? Probably not.
Oh oh oh! GrannyJ anagrams tooo... >_<
"Angry NJ." :XD

Okay I think I'll stop now.
Yes, his school is $72,550 a year. Insanity!
PS - Dream attacks with crunch. Yuen is confused, it hurts itself in confusion.
