Sammy shrugged thinking back on it. "Nope. Not really. They were busy people. Important people to their career and others involved with their career. It wasn't all about me." She told him, almost qouting the very words she'd heard many times as a kid and teen from them. They'd said it so many times that as she got older she would mimic them as they said it. They never noticed her mimicing. She heaved a sigh and looked at him, wanting to change the subject. "What brings you here?" She asked, smiling now.

"That's not important all that matters is that I'm here right?" Jaylen continued to tear into his food. It was the best sandwich he every had. Then again hunger makes the best seasoning. He decided to voice his opinion. "You're a good cook. Thanks you so much."
He took a big sip of the apple juice. "So what do you do when you don't run this place? Do you ever have any down time?"

[Hehe, I can't help being a Touhou fan :XP Though Okuu's not really best for a doctor is she?]
"I'm not sure what attacked him," she began. A soft glow emanated from Lilli's left hand as she did her best to stop the bleeding. Having healing powers was quite a plus in the medical field and although the winged woman wasn't exactly the best in her class, she got the job nonetheless thanks to her inhuman talents. "But he should be stable now. His wounds are severe and it's pretty tough to close them completely. I've never seen his species before." She looked at his cat-like ears and tail. "Do you know where his room is? He'll need to rest."

Abigail shook her head no.
"However... I'm sure you can just call someone who works here, right?" She slowly helped herself up, knees knocking together against her will. "We don't have a... a... a hospital, or, a clinic, or, someplace we can just lay him down without looking like killers?"
The inquiry wasn't just to the demon though, it was more to herself as she stumbled along the hallway looking for a maid or servant to help them out.

(>.< Umm...lolz he didnt lose the fur on his ears and tail..just the fur the had grown all over his body shedded lolz. he became a beast, than went right back to normal.)
As his body was being healed, Mamoru could actually feel the warmth of his body once more coming back as the color on his skin started to come back as well. Slowly his breathing was finally being able to be heard as his tail began to swish left and right once more, but this time a little more than it usually did.

Abigail spun around on her heels at the sight of this and held a hand up to her lips.
"He's awake!"
Soon, she lunged towards him, careful not to harm too much - he did just wake up after a near-death state, after all- and squeezed him as tight as she could for a wounded man.
"Thank goodness I didn't kill you!"

[Oops  Sorry. I edited it ]
Lilli had a confused look on her face after hearing what the girl just said. 'Killers?' she thought, before looking down at her now bloodstained clothes. "I guess we do look like we might have done something wrong." She was a little simple-minded sometimes and forgot that nobody would easily jump to the conclusion that they were the ones who attacked the young man. Worry consumed her until she saw a little movement. Before Lilli could say more, the girl had pounced on the patient, hugging him in relief. The doctor also felt happy that he was coming to.

(No problem. :))
Suddenly feeling someone wrap their arms around him, Mamoru's body jumped a moment as he snapped right out of his little somewhat coma-like state. His eyes immediatly flung open widely as he looked at the girl who was hugging him and gave a little blush. He had already remembered what happened but was completely unaware about how he was still alive at this point. "Wh..wh..whats going on...how am I alive..?.." he asked looking at the other female that had the strange demon like eye on her body. "Who're you?..where am I?" he asked curiously looking around the room noticing how he was in the lobby of the apartment, that answered one of his questions at least.

Her tone dropped on the subject of finding him, but now that there were the three of them together, all alive and very uncomatosely, she let her arms fall, looking down just a little bit.
"I um, I found you by the hot springs. You were passed out already, and bleeding pretty bad. I don't know what you were doing, I don't know who was hurting you-"
She cut off then, refusing to get any more emotional than her hissy fit in the lobby just a couple of minutes ago. Her voice was a lot more lively now, cheerful, covering up any previous negative thoughts.
"What matters is that, I didn't kill you, because in my honest opinon... I had no idea what the hell I was doing."
Abigail looked towards Lilli then, with a look of such greatfullness. She hugged her, tighter now than Mamoru, since, you know, she was healthy.
"Ummm, she did all the saving. I was just being stupid..."

"Actually, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have been able to help him and he probably would have...err..you know." Lilli replied with a smile on her face. "So you have to thank her as well mister.", she continued, this time facing her patient. The raven demon let go of the boy now, hoping to see if he could stand on his own. "You still have to be careful though. Your wounds aren't healed all the way. Trust me, I'm a doctor."

Listening to what Abigail said, Mamoru gave a little frown and nodded. He knew it was true where she must've found him since that was the last place he remembered he was before he passed out. The bad thing that he had to remember was that no one had really attacked him, the only reason he was hurt that bad was because he hurt himself. Clentching down onto his fists and looking up at Lilli, Mamoru gave a little forceful smile to hide his real emotions deep down waving at her. "Ohh...th..thank you..both of you." he said with a slight whisper in his voice as he touched his own body for a moment realizing all the wounds were gone but two really important things were missing. His armor, and sword. "W...w..wait!..wheres my armor?!...wheres my sword?!" he asked suddenly standing up, doing so caused him to collaspe right back down onto his knees as he coughed up a bit of blood from how much anxiety he got from his missing sword and armor.

"Ah! Oh no! I told you to be careful!!" The great red eye on her automatically started scanning the knight once again, focusing mostly on his abdomen. "Looks like your wounds went deeper than I thought. Whatever it was that got you managed to nick your stomach. I think there's a metal shard stuck in there too."
Lilli now had a nervous frown as she bent over to try healing him once again. She wasn't sure if she'd be able to heal him further though, since her abilities appeared to have limited effect on him. The fact that he seemed to be suffering from anxiety didn't help at all. "So..uh...Your sword and armor? Where did you last have them?" the doctor asked in an attempt to calm him down a little.

Suddenly when he heard Lilli yell out in fear, Mamoru looked over at her with a weak frown on his face as he breathed heavily seeing as how the strange demonic eye on her body scanned him once more. Hearing the results that there was a nick in his stomach he gasped for a moment looking down at his own stomach in shock that he had really done that much damage to himself. Though the main thing that caught him off guard was that he was told there was some kind of small metal shard inside him. "A metal shard?..." he asked outloud wondering if he may have accidently hurt himself with his own sword, let alone his claws. When he heard her question about where his sword and armor were Mamoru gave a little frown tilting his head. "last time I remember...I..it was at the back of the apartment near a broken cherry tree.

kailani thanked the girl at the desk and went outside to obtain her luggage she then came back inside and went around the corner searching for kora, she didnt know what she looked like but she figured it shouldnt be to hard for she probably had a name tag, even if there wasn't any name tag to be found kailani could always go around asking.

Hearing this talk about armor and swords Abigail grew worried, and her eyes narrowed ever so slightly.
"What are you doing with weapons around here?" she asked a little harsher than usual. She knew it was harsh, too, but hey, this man had claws and the girl was a demon possessing an extra eye; being careful was just a little way of keeping her sanity in check. "I didn't think stuff like that would be allowed. Then again. . ." her voice trailed off, refusing to make anyone else feel bad.
"I can go look for the armor, if you like," she suggested, "unless something like that makes you feel uncomfortable."

Sammy raised an eyebrow. That made her suspicious. Did he not want to tell her because he had a bad life? Or was it that he was a criminal and had killed many people? She couldn't help but laugh when he told her she was a good cook. "It's just a sandwhich. Normally the cooks cook but I figured a sandwhich is a sandwhich." She didn't feel like getting into detail that she kind of had to learn to fend for herself when her parents ignored her. She again laughed. "Well. I guess you could say that I run the place. I just kinda.... look over things because the owner doesn't live here anymore. He's to high and mighty for us now... But I do have a lot of down time. My room displays that down time." Wanting to explain what she meant she continued. "I take photo's or lounge around." She added.

A sword and some armor. How hard could it be to find a sword and some armor? Abigail walked down one hall, then another, slowly starting to count the different patterns and colors the hotel doors used. The door numbers themselves seemed to spread into almost infinitismal heights - she probably passed a room 666 somewhere on this trip.
That'd be kind of funny, Abigail chuckled to herself. I wonder who would take a room number like that.
She reached the lobby again- well, it WAS always the most populated spot, so where else would she go? - and spun around, a full 360, all on her heels as she scouted for some gleam or glimmer that could reveal the hiding spot of the armor. And the sword. The floors were polished again. It was a wonder how a hotel like this could be so clean with someone nearly dying minutes ago. She made her way towards a broken cherry blossom, and lo and behold - some armor! Abigail sighed in relief, pressing her hands on the smooth metal. Now, to actually carry it back.

Suddenly hearing Abigail's question about why he would bring weapons and armor here, Mamoru looked over at her with a little sigh from hearing how harsh her words were. He didnt say a single word to her as he just shrugged his shoulders, he didnt want to tell too many people that he was a knight, since he had arleady told Cordova; and one person knowing was good enough, telling too many people might've made it a little awkward since he didnt want anyone to know that he was considered more of an ex-knight now. "You can go ahead and look for it if you want...your choice. As long as I can get it back..it doesn't matter." he said noticing how she just left the room anyway to go get it.

Lilli watched as Abigail went off to find the man's missing things. Although the brown haired girl was clearly nervous, Lilli only thought that it was because she was also worried for the neko and not because she had never seen a winged woman or a cat-boy before. The doctor had forgotten that there were many parts of the world where humans and creatures of legend never mixed. Because she treated almost any species in her home city, Lilli was used to many a strange sight.
"While the little dear is off looking for your things I think it's best if we get that metal bit out of you before it does any serious damage. Since..uh..since I doubt there's an official surgery room anywhere in the Villa, I guess we could do the surgery here." she said, but quickly added, "Well, it's not going be an open surgery if that's what you're thinking. " The demon didn't want to cause any more anxiety for the man. "I can take it out without slicing you open. Completely blood free!" Lilli smiled, already preparing herself if he should accept. The thing she didn't mention, however, was that he would still feel a little pain.
Maybe 'a little' was an understatement.
[happy, I was thinking (and sorry for not explaining much or asking you earlier  ) that the metal shard in Mamoru was just a piece of his chainmail that got stuck in one of his wounds when he was clawing himself to death since he did manage to slice through it, if that's ok with you. And sorry again it's so late of me to ask *bows*]

While he awaited for Abigail to come back with his armor and sword, Mamoru laid on the couch in the lobby as he looked over at the only other girl in the room; which was basically Lilli. Hearing that they should try to get out the metal shard inside his stomach now, he tilted his head for a moment as he gasped almost getting too anxious once more as he nearly reopened his wounds at the thought of doing surgery without being knocked out cold. Though when he heard that it wasn't going to be open surgery and it was bloodless, he took a sigh of relief looking at her with a little nod. He had thought if it wasn't open surgery and it was bloodless, it should probably be painless too; even though he didnt know it was actually going to be painful anyway. "Okay, lets get it over with then." he said giving a little more confident smile this time.
(Ohh okay. No problem. ^^)

[Sorry sorry sorry guys! I didn't mean to just bail like that. My internet just died on me all of a sudden and the company only got it running earlier today  Really sorry about the wait ]
The doctor nodded after hearing his consent and cracked her knuckles to begin. Both of her hands now glowed with the same warm light she used to heal most of the other wounds. "Ready?", she asked, but wasn't really going to wait for him to answer. Without warning, she thrust her right hand into his abdomen, her scarlet eye staring past his skin and straight at the target.
Her hand phased through but it didn't go as smoothly as it would normally have with any other patient. As she had anticipated, this ability wouldn't work properly on him either and a few small tears were forming in his flesh where her hand passed through. No doubt the extra damage would cause him pain so she held her other hand over his skin to close them as soon as they opened. But she couldn't close anything in her right hand's path just yet. It would take another couple of excruciating seconds before her fingers finally grabbed the chainmail piece and started receding.
Lilli had to pull out more slowly this time so she could heal all the new injuries properly. There still lingered a few minuscule cuts in her hand's wake but they would heal fairly quickly if the knight rested properly. At least she managed to repair where it counted. "Whew! Err..finally got it!" Lilli held up a bloodied and curved piece of metal in front of the boy's face to show him that it was a success. "N-not..not bad huh?" The woman kept a nervous smile and hoped she hadn't hurt him too badly.
---------------------------
[Cordova, you're done with your bath now! OUT!! :illgetu:]
Finally done cleaning up, the orange haired sorcerer walked back towards his place, his paint stained clothes hanging on one arm. He now wore a gray, stylized, long-sleeved shirt and a pair of dark blue denim jeans. Quite casual compared to his usual attire. Cordova had also tied his hair back in a very short ponytail. Still a little damp too. But he didn't care, it was dry enough for him.
It was going to be lunch soon so he had to hurry to the nearest city. A lot of good customers come out when they're hungry. Cordova started humming again, oblivious to the problems some of the other guests were having.

(Oh, this roleplay is actually still going?? O_o I thought it was closed by now lolz guess not. ^_^ And no worries Minty, glad to have you back! :glomp: )
Hearing the doctor's question about whether or not Mamoru was ready for this surgery, he was going to answer her question but couldnt due to how she just thrusted her hand into his stomach. His eyes widened up in pain as he gave out a quick groan from how much it hurt him. Originally, to be honest he wasn't exactly ready for it since he hadn't thought that it was going to be that fast how she just rammed her hand into him. For a moment while she reached inside him to grab onto the metal shard he coughed up a little blood onto his chained armor; or at least whatever was left of it he was wearing. It felt as if a bunch of worms had just crawled into his mouth and slithered themselves down to his stomach just wandering their way around him as it not only hurted, but also felt really...weird.
Once Lilli had finally pulled her hand out of his stomach, Mamoru coughed up a little more blood onto his chained armor once more looking up at the doctor with a slight glare. He had remembered her saying that it would be bloodless and wasnt going to be open surgery. She was right, it was bloodless and not open surgery; but still she could've told him it was painful. Staring at the bloody metal shard, his eyes stayed concentrated on it as he realized it was actually a piece from the armor he was wearing right now. Did...Did I really hurt myself that bad?! he thought to himself with a bit of shock than took his attention back at the doctor. "Th..t..thank you..." he said with a little weak whisper.
(in this, the word 'bloody' isnt based on how british people talk. its not like 'oh bloody hell, that was great'. its based on like the shard was covered in blood; just pointing that out so that people dont get mistakened. )

Kailani wondered around wondering where she would find kora she hummed to herself as she walked around, noticing a glass door that lead to a garden she smiled and slipped inside "wow so beautifull" she spun aroun in the gras with her arms streatched out and giggled to herself. she stopped spinning and begin to skip around a little before she finally deciding that she shpould continue her search for kora.
she slipped back through the door and began walking down a long hallway.

[Glad to be back  And I'm guessing if it hasn't moved much since I last got on then it must mean everyone else was busy or they also lost their internet. I heard our neighbors also lost their connection and they had the same provider as us ]
"No problem! It's my job after all!" Lilli's tone was now more confident and bright than it had been a moment ago. True, she was worried when he started coughing up blood again but she was sure it won't happen again after all was done. With a smile, she tossed the metal shard into the nearest trash. Highly unhygienic as doctors must always burn such junk as soon as it's fished out of the patient, but again, Lilli wasn't known for her med-school grades. "You should be fine soon. Hopefully you heal fast considering you're a demon."
She also wasn't known for her knowledge in demonology, considering she was one herself. As long as her powers worked on the patient, the raven demon couldn't care less what they were.
"What are you by the way?"

Cordova was nearing the staircase when he noticed yet another guest he had not seen before. This time it was a girl with pitch black hair and pale skin. She had a dainty figure, almost fairy-like. The painter couldn't help but notice the familiarity of her gracefulness. Had he seen a human like her before? Her ears certainly didn't look human.
"Excuse me. Are you lost?" he asked, his curiosity getting the better of him despite the fact that he had someplace to be. He barely noticed that he already had a foot on the first step of the stairs.
