Dean snorted. Because okay, yeah, he understood that really well.

"Alright. So what comes with being an antichrist?"

"A whole lot of bullshit," Runa said, smirking a bit. She blinked quickly, turning her eyes black just to see if the guys would react. "Realistically, there might be some perks. A little warping of reality here and there, maybe forcing some real demons back to the Pit, things like that."

"Okay." So apparently not all antichrists could do the same thing, based on her and Jesse. "So a little something extra but still human ish."

"I never said that was all I could do," Runa pointed out. "I guess it's kind of a case of 'anything you can do, I can do too' between me and the demons. Except for possessing people, I can't do that." She smiled humorlessly. "But they can't do it to me, either. I'm the only one that gets to take my body for a joyride."

"Yeah, that's always a good thing." Dean shrugged and looked at Kyra. "What about you?"

"Similar," she said, because she wasn't feeling particularly helpful. Not when Dean was making eyes at Runa and Runa didn't even notice.

Runa had noticed Dean's gaze sweeping across her body, but not much more than that. So she caught his gaze with her own and, smirking slightly blinked again. This time, when her eyes opened again, instead of being solid black, her irises had turned mottled yellow.

"Similar how?" Sam asked, curious. "I mean, we've seen Cas do a lot of things."

Dean jumped and swore, fighting back the reflex to put a knife through her on principle. So he glared at her.

"I cannot be used as a vessel," Kyra said with a little shrug. "I'm a little more durable than a human. I understand Enochian."

Runa resisted the urge to smirk and blinked again, her eyes going back to normal.

"If you understand Enochian, why did you need our help?" Sam asked. "Couldn't you have just put a ward on yourself or something?"

"I understand the words, not how the wards work," Kyra pointed out. "Most of the time the wards don't even make sense, not really. Not how they're strung together. And yet they work."

"Interesting," Sam said. He glanced over when he saw his brother flail a bit. "What's with you?"

"Nothing." Dean scowled. "I just didn't realize she could change her eye color." He eyed Runa again a little warily, because he did not like yellow eyes.

Sam blinked.

"What?" he asked, looking back at Runa. Runa just shrugged and blinked her eyes, turning them yellow. Sam flinched and swore, just stopping himself from pulling the demon knife.

"She can do red too," Kyra said, her voice rather dry. "And white. Although if you do that much more you'll start leaving sulfur."

"Hush, this won't leave sulfur," Runa replied, putting her eyes back to normal. "Though I thought I was going to leave sulfur earlier, when Castiel startled me."

"I'm kind of surprised you didn't," Kyra said with a snort. "He's very abrupt." Which was about as nicely as she could put it.

"I double-checked to make sure," Runa admitted.

"Wait, wait," Sam said. "Leaving sulfur?"

"Yeah," Runa said. "Sometimes it happens. Not piles of the stuff like real demons leave, but... traces. A dusting here and there."

"Dustings." Dean shook his head. "Well, I bet that's a bitch to clean up."

"Not usually, it rarely happens at home." Kyra shook her head. "Besides, I tend to leave feathers."

"Feathers?" Sam repeated. That one was new. He never remembered Cas leaving feathers everywhere.

"Yeah. Some giant cosmic joke, since real angels don't leave feathers. Apparently since I'm a freaky hybrid that's entirely based in this reality, the equivalent of them throwing off energy is me leaving feathers." Kyra shrugged.

"But they're wonderful feathers," Runa couldn't help but tease. "I have a pillow stuffed with them, at home, it's fabulous."

Kyra made a face at her, fighting back a grin.

Dean really couldn't help but ask. "Are they white?"

"White banded with gold and some dark blue." Kyra shrugged. "Don't ask me how."

"I made some earrings out of them, once," Runa added. "It's kind of fun, sometimes, you know who's aware and who isn't when people see them and flinch." She grinned. "Demons, most of the time."

"So one of you leaves traces of sulfur, and the other leaves feathers," Sam said. "Anything else, besides the usual?"

"Depends what you mean. If you're asking if we can pop in from place to place like Castiel and most demons can do, yes, although I try not to. It's hard to judge where exactly you're going to land, and you don't want to end up half in a wall." Kyra shrugged.

"And aiming for a moving car is a bitch," Runa added. "Took some skin off my whole right side trying that stunt once."

"Of course they've had centuries of practice, most of them," Kyra said, rolling her eyes. "Castiel certainly has." She shook her head. "They make it look so easy."
