Just hope that it doesn't have a bad ending.
Learn my lesson with Negima.

Negima's ending was horrible. HORRIBLE! *rages on about it*

it's just like... why did you make the bad guy him of all people if you weren't going to show HOW THEY SAVE HIM?!

Yeah I did/do.
It was a very rush ending. I mean seriously if they had just not shown the bad guy's face that would have made the ending a little bit better... maybe no not really. OTL It's still terrible.

The artist is so bad... D:
I would rather tolerate the looooong hiatus, rather than having such ending...

There are rumours about artist decision...
I heard illness... some people heard some laws that benefit publisher too much...

Maybe one day the truth will come forward (or at least he'll return to the series and finish it OTL)

It isn't my favorite either but one of the many manga I kept up with.

xD I see

To my memory, there are bad endings. But this negima ending is the worst and obvious rush ending I have ever read.
You have other manga's ending that can compete the rushness?

There were a couple but that's because they got cut so early in the series (like ten-twenty chapters in) so there was no way they could have came up with a decent enough ending. Manga like Doubt Arts, Kurogane, all because they got dropped. Double Arts wasn't bad but it also didn't leave explain anything just as kinda a "oh well, that's enough story telling for today. I'll continue it later." kinda vibe. Kurogane was the best I've seen for a rush manga (mostly because at least it finished the match even though we don't get see if they make it to national).

Then there are the mangas that leave the endings so opened ended I'm like ... that's it? that's the ending? Olympos was one.

Negima is worse to me just because it's 300+ chapters of invest interest and you get nothing... utterly nothing.

I know nothing of all you mention. XD Don't mix anime with manga though.

now you know you are taking a risk with an unfinish manga? XD

They're all manga though? (heh? *confused* unless I used anime somewhere I wasn't suppose to). Cage of Eden's ending was rushed but at least it answered the main question (and all subplots were left unanswered). I didn't read it but Shaman King's ending was all over the place I heard.

Yeah. But I read it anyways. I would have to wait years for it finish to read it in one swoop and I don't have the patience for that. *always reading and dropping new manga*

I don't recognize those titles, so there is a possibility they are anime. Which I pay less attention. I always start with manga before they are anim-ize.

Unless the manga is horrid or clash with my philosophy, I rarely drop manga half way... I prefer to finish it.

Ah yeah no. I don't keep up with anime too well either. I always prefer manga.

Me too. When I drop a manga that usually means I stop keeping track of the updates (because either the updates are too sporadic or too slow or the current story arc is boring me to tears). I come back to it later if I remember about or I spot an update when checking other manga. (That Gakuen Babysitters I was reading earlier in the event I had dropped around chapter 18, it was up to 43 in updates a really nice read to catch up on).
