"Well I don't kill or anything so vanilla." Darien chuckled. "You could probably find a more exciting guy at the bus station."

"I will cherish it the same way I cherish you." Lori gripped his shirt and kissed him.

"Aw, too bad. And here I was starting to like you." Gemini chuckled, obviously teasing.

After kissing her passionately, Bruce smiled at Lori. "Good. I really have to get going, but I'll come see you tonight after work."

"Or I can see you during work." Lori teased and let him go. She headed off to find Gemini skipping like a giddy school girl.

Darken chuckled "don't get me wrong I would kill if I had to I just prefer to wait till they take the first move then it's self defense."

Bruce shook his head and sighed, but didn't argue. Instead, He walked away, headed for his day job.

"Ah, well, self-defense is understandable. Actually, it's a good thing you can defend yourself. Did you hear that in the past month, another thief has surfaced? A woman they're calling Vixen. She seems to hang around this area mostly, and she's a solo artist, though sometimes she's seen with Catwoman." Gemini shook her head. "I don't know what it is with people naming themselves after animals. Bat, cat, penguin...and now fox. Anyway, I don't know if you live nearby, but I'd keep an eye out at night." A small part of her felt just a bit guilty for not telling him that she was the Vixen, but she knew she couldn't. She'd just have to keep an eye out and avoid him if she saw him.

"Oh if someone tried to steal from me I would kill them." Darien blinked at Lori who strangle hugged Gemini's neck. "Guess what...who's this?" Lori's grip tightened glaring at Darien she knew who he really was just like he knew who she was. They had meet once a while ago.

Gemini opened her mouth to answer, only to find herself being choked by her friend. "Lori...let go...can't breathe..." She gasped. Once she was released, she cleared her throat. "This is Darien. Lucifer got all weird with him earlier, so I'm paying for coffee as an apology. Is there a problem?" She asked, her tone indicating to her friend that she'd better not mess things up.

"Nope not at all." Lori sighed a little. Then with a grin held out her hand so only Gemini could see the ring "guess who finally asked me to marry him." she song.

Darien hid his smirk this was interesting news the batty was getting married to catbrain.

Gemini jumped up so fast her chair fell over. "Ohmygod! Seriously? Oh. My. God! Oh, Lori, I'm so happy for you!! Have you picked a date yet? Colors? Who's going to be your maid of honor? Will it be a big wedding or a small one?" She asked rapidly, clearly very excited.

Lori laughed "Settle down he just asked me the first thing I did was tell you." she chuckled and looked down at the ring. "I almost can't believe it." she sighed happily. "Will you help me? after your day out with this guy." she pouted a little.

Gemini nodded. "Of course! I'll head straight over to your place after I'm done here." She said, calming down enough to pick her chair up, blushing.

"Well I may not be home." Lori grinned a little. "I maybe busy doing something else." she got a far off look then hugged her one more time. "Tomorrow for sure."

"Ah, got it." Gemini said with a smirk. "Tomorrow, then, definitely."

Lori slipped away to get her cat suit on.

Darien was making plans for her even as he focused on Gemini. "You where saying?"

Gemini thought for a moment, then chuckled, looking sheepish. "I don't even remember now." She said, embarrassed. "Sorry about my friend, though. She tends to appear out of nowhere like that. Um...oh! Do you have any pets at all? Any animals that don't react badly to you?" She was back to teasing.

"There is one animal." Darien grinned. "My pet rock." He chuckled planning to make up to his hyenas for the lie. "It doesn't dislike me though if it could talk I think it might say different." He was smirking now clearly teasing.

Gemini, who had just taken a sip of coffee, nearly did a spit take. Coughing, she shook her head. "Okay, I wasn't expecting an answer like that. You're pretty unpredictable." She said, chuckling.

Darien shrugged "it would be justified homicide.'' he grinned a little "am I unpredictable?"

"I wouldn't have said you were if I didn't think so." Gemini pointed out. "But it's a good thing, in my opinion. Predictable is boring, so unpredictable is cool."

Darien actually blushed a little "thanks." he looked away smiling a little.

Gemini smiled brightly. "No problem. I speak only the truth." She said, noticing the blush but being kind enough to not mention it. "Damn, it's getting late...I need to get going, but if you're ever in the mood for coffee, I'll be coming back here every day." She said.

"I'll be here unless something happens." Darien grinned a little watching her go before slipping away to get changed into his normal outfit.

Feeling rather happy, Gemini headed home to change into her Vixen outfit. "I think I'll check out that bank tonight, Lucifer." She said, fixing the mask onto her face. Lucifer barked and settled in to wait for her as she slipped out.

Suited up and ready to go, Batman waited in the Bat cave. He knew, not that the Joker was back in action, that he would be busy that night.

Catwoman slipped threw the night having left her wedding ring out at home so it wouldn't be lost in the streets or anything like that.

Joker headed out into the night laughing as people ran from him in fear though some of them just walked right by him not showing any fear.

Vixen jumped nimbly across rooftops, heading for a nearby bank that had supposedly "impenetrable" security.

Batman waited for the signal, knowing it would happen any time soon. His communicator went off, telling him that someone was causing panic in the streets, and he knew it was time to head out.

Catwoman ran into the Joker and cursed but stood her ground. ''Leave me alone.'' she growled. "I wanted to congratulate you on your to be wedding.'' Joker chuckled "A present.' he tossed something and without much thought she caught it paling when the gas came out and knocked her out. By the time Batman would find him there would be no trace that Catwoman had been there.
