I agree with Philomel; there have been many studies that should the death penatly is not something people even consider when killing another.

If it's something that they were even given the option of parole for, then I don't think it's something they should die for.

I believe in the death penalty, only because I don't think it's fair that money from our taxes pay for most of them to stay in there. They have it better than a lot of people. They have a roof over their head, their kept warm, they event get three meals a day. Some of them can even earn privileges, so than they get t.v. and such. And in the end everyday people who do nothing wrong pay for them to live that way. I do think it is unfortunate that innocent people also do suffer in jail, but than we suffer on the outside too. Maybe if they could make it mandatory that everyone in jail has to work to earn their food and warmth, than maybe I could see life in prison, cause I do think that would be worst for them.
