Rubi, I had dreams I was in outer space! Very strange.
I told my husband that at night, wearing the gear, I sound like Darth Vader to myself. He says that it's so quite, he can't hear it over the white noise machine that we also have going all the time in our room.

It's been raining today, and we were planning on attending MomoCon, but the small people aren't as cooperative as I'd care to admit - plus, I feel a bit like cold dog slobber this morning even after drinking copious amounts of coffee. So, we're shooting for tomorrow.

The plus side is that Otto - who is now a little over 4mo - slept 7 hours last nigh! The downside? I kept getting up to check him!

This is proving to be true. He's hitting a stage where there is a surge in growth and development, and doesn't like to sit still in his car seat for very long.

It's in Atlanta, at the GA Tech campus. I've been looking forward to it, not just to meet people from Mene, but I would like Lily to see that there's more to anime than Pokemon. Mark worked 3rd shift and wound up sleeping so late last night, that there was no way we could all go together. I'd like him to come along because this is a school that Lily may be interested in attending in a few years.

No current, non-blurry pics of Otto - my camera isn't working and Mark is not the most reliable at taking pics.

Lily is 11, but very goal-oriented. I've found that if she has specific goals to focus on, plus she loves all things gaming/technical/math, so I'd like her to see that there are other people out there who do too and that there are fun jobs she can consider.

Granny, when is your 4th grandchild due? Do you know if it's a boy or a girl yet?

Lily has a form of high-functioning autism and tends to do well when things are overly structured and planned. Even if she decides not to follow through with college, she's going to be pretty well-prepared for other types of work.

Our 4th grandchild is due any day now, within the next couple of weeks at least. They believe it's a boy. I think that they thought their first was going to be a boy also, but were surprised with a girl. The nursery had been done up in all blues, with a nemo theme.

They are moving Karen, the girl to a different room, which they're painting with pinks and lavenders, and keeping the nemo room for the new baby.

We won't be able to see them and the new baby until later this summer when we take the RV up there.

My, I've been so very lazy lately. For Karen, I crocheted a very colorful clown doll. I've been intending to do a baby blanket for the new boy, but haven't even started it yet. I think I've been waiting to be sure that it's a boy.
