Ouch... Maybe you'd want to go somewhere else to get it removed? I'm not sure if you'd want to leave it like that... I don't really have any experience with tonsils, sorry. ><

They can't remove your tonsils until your throat heals...

You aren't going to die with strep throat if you take the antibiotics they give you...

Unless you have a really high fever. Then they would keep you.

I used to get tonsilitis, and I had fevers of 105.
