Do you guys have any guesses of how long the hangout thread might get? I'm thinking about how much I should plan for page prizes, and how often to give them out. Right now, I'm thinking of giving 100g every 5 pages., which would be 1000 gold for every 50 pages. Does that seem reasonable?

I need to get to work on getting the forum open for us to get stuff sorted! I've got a lot of stuff on my plate tonight, but I'll make sure one of those things is getting a message sent off about the event forum.

True. Granted, it would be awesome if the wedding was during the event.

I'm going to assume that their wedding will happen a few weeks after the event. There's a little space between the URE and Halloween.

Tho I've completely forgotten when Celes Paradi and Phoenix Jubilee happen.

I think Phoenix Jubilee happens in July or August?

CP and PJ aren't yearly and I think happen closer to august.

Or who knows maybe they'll plan one during the Jubilee? That wold be cool too.

hmmmmm reasonable yes. I don't remember how many pages hangouts usually get during user events. We should check a previous one and see. and our hangout is a dual thing this year right? Something else is in it as well? That could add quite a bit. So you may want to do something like page 10, page 25, 50, 75, 100 150. something like that. Idk. its kind of up to you. Don't necessarily have to go every certain number of pages. but pick a random number of pages.

i like this idea much better. So we go. hey we're going to be doing an art this this many posts. random dice roll go using dice size of whatever our post is - 1. And I'm pretty sure you can jump to a post number right?

xD GET WORKING YOU :3 i mean. yay write up. I was exhausted last night so I never worked on my write ups like I'd been planning. I did however do a post on my tumblr letting my followers know the event was coming up shortly.

The hangout is also the FAQ thread. So far as I know, the hangout is me and Scheherazade (that is, whoever happens to be posting as her at any given moment.)

I looked at some past UREs, and one year the hangout got 25 pages, and another year it got 160+ pages. So...I guess I should plan on at least 100 pages, just to be safe? You're right though, I could spread out the page prizes more, and then maybe give a bit more gold each time.

Make sure you spell Scheherazad without the 'e'. Because there's an actual user named Scheherazade.
