I'm a bit picky with my noms, too. I only nom avis that I really feel are deserving and have a chance against what's already been nommed. I can usually tell already who will be the winner each round. It's typically the same type each time. Unfortunate, since there are some really amazing avis that get nommed that don't really get noticed much :(
