The would be even clearer without the bonnet, but I happen to love this bonnet too much to remove it right now.

I can't be the only one that thinks the Easter Bunny isn't that creepy. In fact he looks rather grandfather-ish and pretty genial in the Patch.

Maybe I'm just delirious. I hope not. That would confuse my folks more then usual.

Artistically, he's lovely. I think there is just a general creepiness of all things holiday for me, personally.

Granny - my parents went to UC Berkley in the early 60s - right before the sit-ins. My dad paid less than $40 each term and worked as a dishwasher to pay for his room and board. Before I started grad school, we had a guest speaker from there from their Anthropology department. I hit it off with her and really considered applying, but the tuition now is really horrible! I may as well have applied to Stanford out their. My tuition here wasn't bad, but I still had to fund the whole cost of living, particularly after my husband died. We went from having a fairly large chunk of money each month to 1/3 very suddenly. Most of what my loan went to covered paying for basic necessities and paying off old debts. So crazy...
