Well Kage does tend to put quite a lot of thought into his characters, so it makes sense that his profiles are more detailed the most. *smiles*

Nah, I just pay attention to detail too much is all.

Katie, a few of us have found that creating the ancestor and heirloom first helps a lot, perhaps you could try that approach.

I don't think you can pay too much attention to details when it comes to creating characters. The more in depth you are about them, the realer they manage to be.

*smiles* Don't you mean the more realistic? And, I suppose that is true, though I know some people think my attention to detail is tedious to read.

Well I looked up some creatures and I think I found an interesting one :3 Would it be alright if my character was a Devalpa? It's a Siren pretty much, just looks human. They're main goal is to trick people and such. :P For example they sit in their human form and act like they're in need when they meet someone, and then when the person tries to help them they turn into what they really are (Which at the moment I haven't decided what that is since the original Devalpas were Serpant things but I don't know if I would like that or not). They latch onto people to get something and then once they do what the Devalpa asks they release. Though I would make my character less evil. I would go for the approach that she didn't want to trick the person, but something in her caused her to do so.

And nah, It's not tedious. I like dynamic characters. It's interesting to read the story behind the character and see why they turned out the way they did.

Realistic, realer .. It's about the same thing,isn't it? *smiles and hugs* I rather like reading your attention to detail.

Ah, I know what a devalpa is. I would be fine with that, but keep in mind your character is not a devalpa themselves, their distant ancestor was. And, I am glad you think so. *smiles*

Pap-chan: To be honest, I was not aware "realer" was actually a word until I looked it up. ^^' *hugs* And, thank you, I am always happy to hear my writing is appreciated.

Originally, he was a bit of an outcast since, he was blind and thus, a weak link to his family. *nodnod*
