@ Monstahh - =/ Its a competition where the point is to knock out as many people as possible. I'm sorry that the world of competition can't be all @sspats and Kumbahyah, but you need to get over it. Its just a site, and its just a game. There's no reason to be treating other users like sh1t for getting into a competitive state.

It's not that I'm completely averse to people's opinion of other people. I just would rather not have the curse words. Although I'm kind of tired of all this talk about what was done on some other thread.

So I'm asking everyone to refrain from bring up this topic again if it is going to bring such ill will in my thread.

See, that's where I disagree. I don't believe that cuss words show any maturity what-so-ever, to be honest. Which is why I'd rather they not be in my thread.

Why do you think cuss words show immaturity? Because we've been raised with a huge taboo on them?

Well, I've found that cuss words are mostly used in fits of anger or when one can't manage their anger towards another. I don't feel like curse words are a constructive means of expressing one's self.

But why shouldn't these words be used in fits of anger? They're very "strong" words, if you get my gist. When you're feeling frustrated, you can just say, "Arghh! I'm mad!" or something like that. But say, I don't know, your best friend stole the car you worked for five years saving up for and crashed it into a pole. You'd be very angry then and "I'm mad!" just doesn't cut it. To just shove that into "I'm very, very angry!" doesn't seem like you're being very sincere about your feelings.

XD When I'm pissed at someone, I clench my fists, grit my teeth, then shout something like, "MOTHER EFFING DOUCHEWAFFLES!" XD Makes me feel better and it makes the situation somewhat better because it sounds totally ridiculous.

Dystopia: I just don't feel like forums should make someone so mad that they would need to swear. I'll be honest, I swear in real life on occasion but about things that mean something to me. I feel like forums are just so unimportant to get so angry in.
