I'm not skipping anything too important I don't think; tonight's my alternative process photography class, and I think we're still working on making digital negatives. I can do that here in the comfort of my laziness. :yes:

It's basically using assorted chemicals to give prints a certain effect. Like, the Vandyke Brown printing gives it a sepia tone; you expose it to UV light and then develop it in water. Here's an example:
