"I'm not mad at you, just worried. Cormac rode out on Sepia. God only knows what that horse could do when she realizes her master isn't in control of himself," he murmured. "And he wasn't relying on your words, but on your actions. He's learned to take words with a grain of salt, again, I blame his mother wholly for that. But, he's horrible when it comes with feelings for women, or men for that matter. And he can't be perfect, and expecting that of him is unfair." He slowly walks over to her and hugs her.

Cassiel's words only made her feel worse and she leaned into him, crying harder and harder. "W-w-w-what h-h-h-have I d-d-done to p-p-prove him o-o-o-otherwise? Do people that h-h-h-hate him just r-r-r-r-randomly kiss him on the ch-ch-ch-cheek or something? I-I-I-I-I'm scared, Cas... I don't w-w-w-w-w-want him to get h-h-h-hurt... I want him back h-h-h-home. I-I-I n-n-n-never thought he was perf-f-fect. Th-th-th-that doesn't m-m-mean he can't still l-l-l-love me. B-b-b-but now I'm w-w-worried that I've r-r-ruined it completely" she sobbed, speaking in between her hyperventilation.

Cassiel rocks her. "Deep breaths. And in answer to your first question, yes. He was sold for sex so, he doesn't see anything like that as affection. Things he does see as that are; hugging, cuddling, things of the like. Yelling at him, again, only cements his thinking that women either use him or die." he keeps rocking her, waiting for her to calm down. he's inwardly getting more and more worried about Cormac.

Serena did as she was told a few times, the sobs still racking her body. "What about earlier, then? Wait a minute, you were gone then, you don't know what happened... whatever, it was basically cuddling. And if he takes words with a grain of salt, then why did he react like that when I said I didn't care if he kissed you? Just... isn't there something anyone can do to get him back? I really don't want him gone right now, you want him back, I want him back... isn't there anyway to get him back? Or are we supposed to wait for him to drag himself back or have someone else show up, informing us that he's dead?" she asked him. The rocking soothed her, like she was a baby in a cradle.

"I've never fully understood his reactions. I think he was letting himself begin to open up, and though that kissing me--which I wish I'd been informed of that, might I add--would have gotten you to have the jealous reaction he'd expected. And I've been pondering ways to get him back. Here's what I've come up with. He's either going to ride Sepia out until she crashes into something, or he's taking her to Ang's place. If it's the second one, he's going to provoke her into killing him." He kept rocking her, trying to see if there was anyone he could get to stop Cormac long enough for them to get there. "...I almost wish someone else had my creepy power, it'd make this a tad easier," he mutters to himself.

Serena leaned against him, listening to his words. "Yeah... it would be nice... but if someone else had it... then you wouldn't be quite so unique. I just... I'm scared I'll never see him alive again. If you figure out a way for you to get him... then do it. Leave me here, I'll be fine. Ok?" she told him.

"My issue is, my power is based on them being able to see, that's why I couldn't tell where you were when you were tearing up earlier...And he's either got his eyes closed or he's crying, or something because I can't see where he is. Nor is that stupid, scary horse helping me..." He rubs his arm absently as he thinks. He sighs after a moment. "The only thing I've got is trying to ride and see if I can get a sight of him or the stupid horse..."

Serena sighed and moved closer into Cassiel's embrace, her tears having disappeared by now. "Then all we can do is hope that it all works out... do you think... that he can... come back home? even if he gets seriously injured... do you think he can... or will? I just... want to see him alive, one more time. So I can tell him... show him... somehow, someway... show him something... anything. I feel like it's my fault that he left, don't say it isn't because you must know that it's true. He wouldn't have left if I hadn't done that... I just got so frustrated with him! Everything I said or did was pushed away... pushed off as a lie. And on top of that I was already angry at him for pulling a stunt that had a 50% chance of actually working... especially since it wasn't his lucky day. It might have worked if I was different... if I wasn't already doubting his feelings... I know it's my fault he left. All I can hope for is that he comes back soon" she told him, her eyes drooping. His rocking was soothing her, so much so that it was lulling her to sleep. "If I'm asleep when he comes back... will you wake me up?" she asked softly.

"...I'm going to Ang's camp. If anything, I can warn Kota and have him interfere. ...I'm worried if I find him and break them up, he'll go after me. Without a second thought. He's blaming me for this, in the fact that I tried pushing you together, which he's right." He chews his lip. "I'll wake you up when I get back, no matter what," he responded, standing. He headed to the door carefully, knowing he was going to have an issue getting there until he got to the stable. Then, he'd be fine.

Serena rubbed her eyes and nodded "alright... bring him home alive, ok? I need to... Need to see him... alive" she mumbled, her eyes drifting closed. She yawned cutely and finally gave into sleep, feeling better that he was coming home. Home... he's coming home... he'll be just fine... and then you can tell him how much you love him and how much of an idiot the both of you are, especially him for running out like that... kiss him... he's coming home, she thought to herself before she lost all consciousness and slipped into dream land.

Cassiel made it to the stable and set out. After a few hours he comes back, soaking wet and upset. He couldn't find Cormac anywhere, and was really at a loss. He did have a team set up, and brought Kota back, because he had a better sense of smell. He waved Kota in and shut the door without going in. He just stood outside, staring off towards the stables.

Serena woke up to the sound of the door shutting. "Cormac!?!" she called out, looking around. She spotted Koga... or whatever his name was since she barely remembered him. "Where's Cormac?" she asked, pulling on him.

"We...'re not sure. Cassiel's really not sure. He hasn't been to either camp. Cassiel's gonna fly out when the rain slows down." He fidgets, glancing at the door. Cassiel hears them talking but doesn't move. He closes his eyes and stands there.

Serena cries out in anguish and falls to her knees, crying some more. She ended up in the kneeling fetal position and she stayed that way for awhile "why!?!?!?" she cried out to no one in particular. I want him home! where did he go!??! she asked herself.

Kota goes to the door and tugs on Cassiel. "Cassieeel," he whines. Cassiel shakes him off. "I'm fine. Once the rain stops, I'm leaving." He frowns ay Kota, who's still clinging to his arm.

I feel so useless.. I can't go help him... I can't go find him... Serena thought as she sat against a wall.

Cassiel, who finally came barely inside when the rain got worse, perked up as it finally stopped. "Off I go," he states before changing. Kota also changed--after wrapping a pack with clothes around himself, into a black jaguar. Cassiel settled himself on Kota's head. They took off quickly. They didn't come back for even longer than the last time.

Serena sighed and walked over to Cormac's bedroom. She laid down on his bed and breathed in his scent. She let out a few tears "please come home" she pleaded to him, hoping that somehow he would hear her plea and come home with Cassiel and Kota. She laid there for a few minutes before crying herself to sleep. She dreamed of Cormac, his scent invading her nose.

About two hours later, the door opens. "Nuu, Cassiel! You'll huuuurt hiiim," Kota whines. He helped carefully get Cormac through the door--in his shifted form. Cassiel grumbles. "I really hope he realizes how lucky he is I found him. That wolf would have torn him up so much worse..." He carefully pulls a very injured Cormac through the door. "All right. now where to put him. Bed's no good, I'd never make it through the door. Kota, stop spinning, I need your sight, not to puke."

Serena awoke to the sounds of Cassiel and Kota talking. She listened to their conversation as she slipped back into reality and she sprang up. She rushed out to the front room and spotted Cormac. She gasped and rushed up to them "is he going to be alright?" she asked, running her hands over his fur.

"Ah, look. More sight. Always helpful. And, I dunno. He was mangled up pretty bed, even before that wolf got to him." He frowns. "I never did find that horse..." He rolls his eyes. "My only issue is I can't do anything with him in his wolf form..." Kota pouts. "Well, how are we getting him outta his wolf for then?"

Serena wrapped her arms around his neck and gently hugged him "he'll be just fine... he has to be" she said softly, nuzzling closer to him. As she cuddled close to him, she gently petted his fur "He'll be fine" she said again, mainly to reassure herself.

Cassiel watched them, thinking. He knew there was a way to forcibly change a shifter back, but he didn't know if Cormac could handle it. Cormac shifted ever so slightly as Kota wandered around them. "Are you two dating?" he asked Serena.

Serena looked up and blushed "um... well... no... I'd... I'd like to... but... but... the reason he ran away was... because I upset him... so... I don't really think I should" she said sadly. I just want to tell him the truth... I don't want to hold anything back... then I'll leave his life... he should have someone that won't push him to do something like this, she thought to herself as she nuzzled her face into his furry neck.

"Meh, he's an emotional spazz," Kota points out. "'Specially around girls. He freaks. So, unless you can genderbend he's gonna have to deal." "...I'm rubbing off on you. That's weird," Cassiel mumbles, while thinking. "Ko, do you think he'd be able to handle gusdif djemi?" he asked suddnely, in an odd language.
