I used to nearly body slam the radio in my mom's car because it was such shit and worked one out of five hundred times (no shit). I hated that thing so much because it'd eat CDs and wouldn't load them...we got it to work 10 years after she bought that care. :roll:

Yeah, I have a few people that I would count as good friends, a couple here and then I have a few more irl. Then I have a very select few whom I count as like family.

The cord for my computer I've had it as long as the computer. So a little over a year.

I don't have any friends I count as family anymore. Got close to calling my old best friend my sister, but she...has disappointed me beyond belief over the last couple of years, so that position's now open.

Lol kita is my only friend I've called a Sister and she was there for me when none of my real life friends were there for me. She was also like my friend like day 2 of my time on Mene XD
I have a much easier time having friends on line. Much more convient for my time schedule but allows for no one to go shopping with XD

I have a hard time calling people family. You guys know I'm an only child, so that has made me very careful with that kind of stuff, and just all the "betrayals" and things I've been through with people. Not really betrayals, but bad shit.

@Ser: She's always been nuts. As I've gotten older, I've lost my ability to deal (not only with her, or anybody that's crazy). The stories I can tell about her make the word "insane" sound like a compliment. >.>

@Birdie: I used to have a guy friend who could make a computer malfunction by being within twenty feet of it. It was hilarious.

@Birdie: Exactly! I have no idea whatsoever what a sister or a brother, or even family is supposed to be. Freaks me out when I get thrown into an environment like that. I mean, I've got my parents...but I have been more of a...mini adult to them than I was ever a young daughter.

My gran that just died was a really wonderful mothering figure, and I thank her for teaching me most of what little I know about family stuff. My parents are good parents, and I appreciate the opportunities they've given me, and how mature they've made me grow up to be, but they never once let me make mistakes without killing me with a punishment. Would've been nice to have that freedom. They always told me to be a kid, but never let me be one.

My grandparent's are definitely more my parents then my mom and dad were. They did a similar thing where they were always like, "don't be a follower think for your self" but then as soon as I thought something different then them it wasn't okay. Like they got SO upset I had the Doa and I was like have you read anything in here? XD At lest the important part of that stuck. Now I don't believe anything until I've done a fair amount of research.

Yeah oddities like that fascinate me. They are like real life comic book heros and such. The wolf kids I was just like OMG that's where warewolf stories started. But they sent there little girl to public school. That wasn't cool, I'm not a fan of sheltering kids, but I just couldn't see them accepting her. Unless maybe she could like bite someones face off, then I see her not having many problems, but she was to sweet for that

Eh. My parents told me exactly what to believe in most things except for religion. Never did get me baptized, but I came to religion on my own, which was their purpose. Came up with most of my own ideas of everything else, too, despite their teachings.

I really like those "My Strange Obsession" and "My Strange Addiction" shows on TLC. I will sit there glued to the screen while they're on, which is what makes me think psychology is a good field for me.

With the parent conversation. I'm closer to my dad than I am my mom because of all of the crap my mom has pulled lately since 2008 when she up and moved out.
That and all the money stuff. -.-
I do have to say they did do a good job in raising me. I think both my brother and I are baptised in the United Methodist Church, but that was it. There was nothing else they did for that. They didn't shove religion down our throats, though sometimes it was mentioned, but no forcing us to believe anything. They left my brother and I to come to our own views on everything. Including politics as well

sort of skimmed over the last few pages. I'm definitely closest to my mom. Baptized catholic but only my dad practices and I pretty much think he's insane.. the church lets him around/teach small children via sunday school/catechism classes. I have no clue why.. guy is bound to traumatize small children

Old school Catholics are just insane...new school ones really aren't that bad. I need to do more research on religion. I have some pretty limited knowledge of it, but I'm pretty familiar with Christianity. I had to tell one of my friends the story of Adam and Eve once. I couldn't believe that was necessary...was kinda sad, really.

my dad is not really catholic.. i mean he is. he goes to a catholic church but he's like this odd amalgamation of insanity. I'm not really sure how to describe what he is. He's like a mix of catholic and born again christian wised with some mormon ads far as stubbornness. My exe's family was mormon and disinherited my ex's brother because he was gay. My dad's like that. you will cease to even be seen by him if he knows that abut someone.
