It comes out about a month before I'm out of school.
But I like it that way, I can show it off to all my friends.

I don't have any friends to show it off to, except for the one that I talk to when I'm online... at home. So it would be preferable for my semester to be over XD. But I'm in college so that happens sooner rather than later.

Yeah, although when I was in high school I didn't have any friends who cared about Green Day one bit, except for the one that's the same one online, who I just happened to be friends with at the time. Well... that is, we were friends then, but it wasn't in high school, so at my school there wasn't anyone else who was interested. Let alone remotely as interested as I am.

Same here, last year some random jerk in my science class saw I was wearing a Green Day shirt and said "Psssh, they're such a baby band." I looked at him and said, "Uhhhh, You're the one wearing a Pokemon shirt and you call me a baby? And I didn't ask for your opinion, so good bye."

lmao, that's funny. And I wouldn't exactly consider them a baby band, as they've been around as a band for longer than I've been alive XD and I'm legally an adult.

I still think it's cool that Billie Joe seems to be able to write stuff that's personal to him, who's now in his late 30s, and his generation, and still be relevant to the teenagers who make up the majority of their listener base.

I mean, can you imagine an arena's worth of French teenagers singing "Born into Nixon/I was raised in hell"?

Well, supposedly the first single will be "Know Your Enemy", due to hit the airwaves on April 20th and 21st (in UK first, then US).

Also, Reprise is releasing a box set of all of Green Day's singles, as well as Foxboro Hot Tubs and even - get this - The Network.

They will also be releasing the band's entire album catalog throughout the year on vinyl.

This is pretty exciting news for those who are interested in collecting the band's stuff in different forms. I'm pretty excited about it myself, even though I don't actually have a working record player.

Wow, the album comes out on May 15, and there will be a musical of American Idiot to be brought to the stage in Berkeley. It should be really interesting.

I can't wait. I'm super excited. They're offering a special edition Album bundle through their website. (If someone else mentioned that already, sorry.) It comes with a bunch of extras. It cost around $90.

Yeah, I saw that! It looks pretty fantastic, and very well worth the money, if only I could afford to get it! I've already pre-ordered the standard album.

So, um, sorry if this has already been mentioned, but I heard that Green Day is touring with blink-182 this summer. Do any of you guys know if that's true?

That's not true, no. They're also not touring with the Kaiser Chefs. I'm glad for both of those, LOL.

Damn, I actually kind of like blink-182. But it is indeed good that they're not touring with the Kaiser Chiefs. ;)

I ordered the single CD from Germany XD. I'm not listening to the single, though - only the b-side. "Lights Out". I have actually already listened to it... and it's pretty fucking sweet XD.
