Let me think. . Goosebumps, Boxcar Children, Magic Tree House, Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys, Animal Ark, then it was books like Harry Potter and The Legend of Drizzt/Forgotten Realms.

My mom thought Drizzt was a bit too mature for me, but let me read them anyway. I can't thank her enough.

Well I owned the whole first bit of the warriors saga, but I lent it to a friend and never got it back. And I do own a lot of series that Were given to me by people. Now the only series I own that I really care for is the the Dark-Hunter series.

Junie B. Jones. I love those books. When I was a little girl I hated reading. My parents didn't understand why not. They used to read to me every single day. I think that series got me to finally start reading. Im hooked now :D I read and read and read. Junie B. Jones was a stubborn little girl who reminds me a little of myself at that age. I kept reading them until my mom started making me read other books because they were much too easy for me XD. I'll always remember my fist series though. :D

My school made us read Boxcar children, and while that would technically be my first series I'm not counting it because it was not my choice to read it. Animorphs was one of my first, and Catwings, was too. I liked to read when i was little, but i don't think i read many series. Mostly children's novels.

Well, my first book series was The Chronicles of Narnia. When I was a kid back in middle school my mom bought me a set of books with all the stories of The Chronicles of Narnia and I fell in love with them. I would read them everyday. Unfortunately as I grew up I got bored with them. So, mom gave them away. Now my new book series is The Lord of the Rings. I have The Silmarillion, The History of Middle-Earth and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

Chronicles of Narnia. I started reading the books when I was around seven and it started my love for fantasy literature and art.

lol my first series I started reading around 4. I'm sure everyone remembers it. I'm talking about the Laura Ingalls Wilder Books (Little House in the Prairie books). Still will pick them up every now and then to reread them...

I can't really remember what my first series was. I think it might've been The Series Of Unfortunate Events. I still have yet to finish it, lol.

My first series had to have been The Chronicles of Narnia. My fourth grade teacher bought the box set and started reading them to us, but we'd graduated to the fifth grade before she could finish. However I didn't continue. My fifth grade teacher read us the Series of Unfortunate Events. I liked them but didn't much care for them. Then one day I'm looking around the school library and find a book. I found These Happy Golden Years by Laura Ingalls Wilder. It was really really good. It was the first big book I'd ever read, but not the first series. So I got out of the fifth grade and picked up The Chronicles of Narnia again and started reading it from the beginning. That's when I got hooked to books.

First series if you can call it a series was the Interview with the Vampire "series". Started that summer before grade 6. By the end of it I was reading the Anita Blake series. Probably not a great choice looking back on it now that I realize how young I was when I was reading that but meh. I didn't end up reading a series of unfortunate events or the chronicles of narnia etc.. until about a year or 2 ago I thought I should read them because they are great books... or so I had been told at that time.

My first series was the Magic Treehouse. I remember incessantly collecting them until I was thirteen. It's sad though because I stopped reading them just as the series got interesting; my mom said I was too old for baby books like that...

Joke's on her: I still have a few in the back of my closet and I read them every once in a while. They're just so cute! :D

My first series was the original Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys. Somebody who bought the first go round, before they modernized them gave me the entire set and I read them cover to cover over and over again. I barely acknowledged my TV existed until I started getting home early enough to see Toonami (back when it was a) still Toonami and b) good). I didn't need TV, I had books.
I also read the Great Illustrated Classics series obsessively, and I have to say, go parents! for that.
