The buds seem to still be hiding for me but I have another 5 orchids toward the next item. I also hope they fix the IE problem today so I can claim yesterdays on my mule.

Hello my purkle lovelies! I got a cute little message yesterday from Deniece to stop on over for the event. I've been so busy working lately that I haven't been around much, but weeeeee. I am excited. *goes and tries to find some buds and to check out the commons*

I wish the buds would drop more often... there's a lot of commons I want, and I'd rather spend buds on them instead of gold... just cause I wanna keep the goldies :lol: I'm being pretty strong about not transferring any gold over to this account, but I might break down a little later and at least buy some of the less expensive things like the sparklers, fans and spindles.

I orchids and buds pop up randomly in pages. So you really have to keep a sharp eye out. The orchids you can exchange for event items,a nd the buds can be used to event commons. Check out the FAQ page for pics of the flowers.


They really are sneaky though, I've found some in the header, in sigs, and even right on top of avatars!

We do have a gorgeous selection of new items, I have to say, I'm getting all girly over the sparklers and the windmills. ESPECIALLY the windmills because I love those!

I'm pleaced that we've got to introduce some pretty new colours too, seeing as so much of the Valentine's stuff was all black, red and silver. I'm trying not to spend any more now, I don't want to have empty pockets, I hate that >.< I've got 5 buds right now, so I have to hold out and save them up for a clothing item rather than an acessory :lol:

I'm still having trouble finding orchids and buds in the forums, I overlook them too easily there. I'm still finding the majority in the shops, lol.

I've definatly gotten more orchids than buds... Although I did just have a page where there was an orchid AND a bud! :shock:

You're meant to get more orchids than buds, that's intentional :yes:

While we're happy for people to gain a few free event commons, we don't want to be giving away tons of stuff :sweat: I seem to be collecting a few more now though, which is nice! It is totally random though, so I may get another dry spell later.

I haven't received one bud yet, and am not having much luck with the orchids for that matter. Unfortunately for me, I only have a few hours today since I am heading down to spend the night with my girlfriend as she is graduating from Grad School tomorrow morning. Here's hoping i get enough orchids to get at least the first item!

So it's good to search an entire page for one of the flowers before moving on or posting, right? Because they really CAN be anywhere?

Jelly- Yeah, I kind of figured that , since it makes sense. But I have already seen one user who has bought a couple wings with pure buds. Crazy.

Eternal- Yup, they can be sneaky, but usually you will spot them. Just have to be attentive. *nods*
