Saiyuri laughed, "Get her Kal!"

Kalli smiled and peeked under the table, "Ehh, I think she's good."

Saiyuri laughed and looked under the table, "Aww, how cute!"

Liam laughed and ruffled Anna's hair, "You're going to get all dirty down there you know."

Drew glanced over towards the Gryffie table and motioned for Anna to come up quickly, "Fynn's giving Deacon a really hard time, he looks like he's going to explode. Any idea what his problem is?"

Grinning up at Liam, a light blush on her cheeks, Anna started to climb up, leaning on his knee lightly for support. "I think he's worried I'll be an emberrasment to Gryffindor or something." As she emerged from underneah the table, she immediatly started to dust herself off. "Though of course, I can't say there isn't any reason for him to worry."

Pushing her glasses black into place, she smiled lightly at the gang, then pulled Saiyuri along with me. "You're my emotional support. Let's go save Deacon."

Cheerfully, the brunette started to skip in their general direction, waving at Deacon. "Hey cutey! How was your first day of class?"

Drew laughed as they all looked over at Fynn, Deacon, Saiyuri, and Anna, "Well, that's for sure."

Saiyuri smiled and ruffled Deacon's hair, "What classes were they?"

Annoyed, Deacon pushes Saiyuri's hand away. "Hey! Not the hair." Anna laughs at him, instead, and ruffles his hair some more for good measure. "Seems like you had fun, huh?" She grins at the younger boy, then glances up at Fynn.

"What's with the face, Fynn?" Leaning forward, she offers a playful grin. "You look like you have a serious stick up your ass."

Fynn gapes at her for a moment, then frowns, "Don't joke with me - I can easily deduct points!" The brunette smiles amiably, tilting her head a little. "What for? Because -you- were scaring my little buddy, here?" Deacon shakes a fist, squeaking, "I wasn't scared!", which causes Anna to laugh.

Glowering at both Saiyuri and Anna, Fynn doesn't say anything, simply crossing his arms and glaring at them both.

Saiyuri, a bit taken aback by Deacon's agressiveness and whispered to Anna, "I-isn't this the same sweetheart I met earlier?"

Smiling back at Fynn, Saiyuri flicked his nose teasingly, "Don't be so mean Fynn! Besides, if you keep scowling like that, you'll just get wrinkles." Sighing she looked him in the eyes, her smile fading a little, "What happened to you.. We were such good friends before.."

"I think he's just unnerved by Fynn", Anna returned in a whisper, just in time to catch the fading of her smile. It made the brunette frown a little and turn to Fynn, questioningly.

"Before was a long time ago, Saiyuri," came his calm response, though the boys' eyes were still shooting fire. "Just make sure you don't corrupt Anastasia like they corrupted you."

Saiyuri softly laughed, her eyes a bright brown, and smiled at Fynn, "Corrupted? Me? How have I been corrupted? Because I hang out with a couple of Slythies and a Huffie besides those of my own house? If you remember correctly Fynn, you were on the train with us and didn't mind us until you became a Gryffie. Then you completely disregaurded ever knowing Leane and Josh! So tell me, how have I been corrupted?"

His laugh was curt and humourless as he shook his head - the long tresses moving over his forehead. "You've got it all wrong, Saiyuri. You think any of this has to do with you being in other houses?" His gaze travels to Anna, now, as he continues. "I would still want nothing to do with you if I'd been in Ravenclaw myself."

With this, he turns away, giving a final, "You've been warned," to Anna, before walking away.

Utterly clueless, Deacon and Anna exchange a glance. "What was THAT about?"

Saiyuri sighed, "Honestly, I have no idea. I always assumed he hated us due to being in different houses.. Now I'm not so sure.. Has he ever mentioned anything to you about us Anna? Before just now I mean.."

"Only that I had to choose my friends wisely." Anna bites her lower lip lightly as she thinks, putting her hands on Deacons' shoulder and pushing him into the general direction of the Hufflepuff table. "I'm thinking he thinks you guys are a bad influence or something. I have no idea why."

Saiyuri's nose scrunched in concentration as she followed Anna back to the table, "I don't either.. it's not like we ever got caught for anything we've done.. all that's ever said about us is speculation.." Saiyuri began to ponder as she sat once more beside Drew. Drew, noticing her nose and her dark blue eyes, "Sai.. what's wrong? What did he say?"

"Nothing too important, I think." Anna sighs as she slips back into her seat, Deacon in tow. "He thinks you guys will corrupt me, or something." Disinterested, Anna shrugs, continuing on her paper.

"Can I join you guys?" Deacons' nose is scrunched together as he looks at their little study group - not in the mood to go back to his fellow Gryffindors yet. "I'll make my homework, too."

Saiyuri smiled, "Sure thing hun. Sit where ever you want 'kay?"

Kalli peeked up from her half finished paper and looked at Saiyuri, "Why does he think we'll corrupt her?"

Josh smirked, "He's afraid we'll teach her everything we've learned from the Forbidden Section of the Library."

"Well, it's not like we'll have forced her to learn if she wants to!" exclaimed Leane as she finished her Paper.

"But he said you all corrupted me.. I don't see how.. but.."

Drew sighed squeezed Saiyuri's hand, his paper finished, "Look, there's nothing to worry about. Fynn's probably just being Fynn, don't take it too much to heart."

"Besides, does it really matter that a nimrod like him doesn't like you? Come on Sai.. you're better than that!" added Josh.

Not paying a lot of attention to the conversation, Anna offers, "It's part of human nature to want to be liked - no matter the person." She dips her quill into the inkwell to add the final paragraph to her paper, muttering, "We all want to be thought special, after all."

Gaping at her from his spot across the table, Deacon blinks, then gets his own things ready.

Drew and Saiyuri, the only ones catching her statement besides Liam and Deacon, smiled at Anna. Whispering, Drew comforted her, "Believe me Anna, you really are special." Saiyuri added with a wink in a whisper, "And don't let anyone, not even Fynn, tell you other wise."

Saiyuri smiled as she finished up her first paper and Drew began his second. The rest of the group worked on, hoping to finish their current homework before their time was up.

Their reassurances made her chuckle. "Honestly, I was just making a random statement." Still chuckling, she drew a neat line underneath the paper, tearing the scroll and waiting for it to dry as she got her Transfiguration' things out.

Saiyuri giggled and shook her head. Drew simply smiled as he rolled up his parchment and handed it to Vanora, who was still sitting on his lap. Vanora jumped out of his lap, scroll in her mouth, and ran off to the Ravenclaw Dormitory.

Saiyuri rolled her eyes, "You do know we have to go back there anyways.."

"Yeah, but Vanora was starting to hurt my leg so I figured I'd send her off with it, give my leg a little time to recover."

Saiyuri stuck her tongue out teasingly, "She's not that heavy!"

"Eh, Drew's just a whine ass," stated Leane and she stuck her tongue out teasingly and rolled up her parchment.

Kalli breathed a sigh of relief as she rolled up her parchment as well, "That wasn't so bad! Thanks again you guys, I really appreciate it."

Josh ruffled her hair and waited for his ink to dry, "You just needed encouragement, that's all."

"And thanks to Josh, you got plenty of that!" Anna laughed while smiling kindly at Kalli. "But it's a good thing you got it finished." As she props up her head on her hand, she wonders, "What kind of an animal is Vanora, anyway? I've never seen it before."

Kalli smiled as Josh rolled up his parchment and Saiyuri answered Anna's question, "She's a fox-squirrel. She's as tiny and agile as a squirrel, yet as cunning and adorable as a fox. Unfortunately, she's one of the very last of her kind. They were wiped out centeries ago, now only a handful can be found. I'm hoping to find a male for Vanora to mate with. Maybe I'll be able to help salvage what's left."

This made Anna smile warmly - a wondering, genuine curve of her pink lips - as she ran a hand through her still damp hair. "That's a really nice initiative, Saiyuri! Maybe I could find a male sometime?" It felt weird to admit that she really knew little about the wizarding world - despite both her parents being magical.

The young Belgian girl didn't like to dwell on it, though, and instead, turned her head lightly to Liam. "So tell me - what should I expect in Hogsmeade? I've never been down there."

Saiyuri smiled, "If you ever do, be sure to tell me immediately. I have more than enough funds to purchase all you find."

Drew laughed, "What she fails to mention, is she's the reason thirty were released back into the wild."

"I was not!"

"Yes you were! When you were four years old you went and visited Vanora, who was still a small pup then, and you left the door to their gated community open!"

"Did not! I closed it tight. It simply refused to latch properly. Not my fault at all!"

"Anywho, since then she's been working in a shop in Diagon Alley to increase her funds each year. She works vacations, every other weekend, and all summer."

Leane laughed, "No she doesn't.. she's here every weekend!"

Saiyuri blushed, "She's right, I am!"

Kalli rolled her eyes, "What you all fail to remember is Dumbledore gives her use of the Time-Turner when she has to work."

Josh rolled his eyes, "Way to tell everyone Kal. No one's supposed to know!"

"No one heard me but our group!" Kalli exclaimed before looking around, "I don't think.. anyway.."

Liam rolled his eyes at Kalli and turned to Anna, "Hmm, Hogsmeade is full of drunks and wacky people. But, there's creepy places like the Shrieking Shack, which is always fun to hide out in or have snowball fights near, they have a few clothing stores if I remember correctly, and they have many sweet shops as well as a couple o' joke shops."

Anna watched the on goings with a light smile on her lips - honestly as clueless as clueless can be. "No, I think your secret is safe."

As she turned her head lightly to listen to Liam, she nodded. "I see. Sounds fun. What about café's or so? Like, a pastry shop!"

Liam smiled, "It's all in the same place, the main drink is Butter Beer though, but I'm sure he'll have a wide variety of coffees and teas. I take it you're a coffee or tea drinker?"

Smiling lightly, Anna shakes her head, "Just plain water, actually. Though Butter Beer sounds delicious." She tilts her head lightly to look at him, adding, "Though the town must be swamped when the students "hit it"."

Liam laughed, "Actually, since first, second, and third years aren't allowed to go, and almost everyone goes to the Joke Shop, Honeyduke's, or the Hog's Head, the streets are pretty quiet. And hardly anyone lives there, it's mainly just a place for people to stop on their travels and rest for a night or so. Besides, not everyone goes to Hogsmeade, a lot stay behind to catch up on homework or others have Quidditch Practice scheduled so they aren't allowed to go."
