We finally got our A/C working. So it is a lot cooler today than it was yesterday. Still awful hot though. And I'm still awful sick. Had chicken and rice soup yesterday. Was pretty good and I felt a bit better afterward.

its always pretty cool in my house. my parents really crank up the AC.

I was just reading over the list of criminal felonies that the students in my nursing class can not have ever been convicted of and #12 states and I quote: "Gratification of lust." Omg!! I had to look that up to see how that is a felony.

Of course they have a list, Kat, but mostly it is like possession or sale of drugs, murder, manslaughter, armed robbery, rape, sexual battery, assault, child or elderly abuse, grand larceny, sexual offense, burglary. What really got me though was the gratification of lust. What does that even mean? Upon looking the term up, all I got was stuff on lust murder, which is nasty.

I'd have to say most adults are guilty of #12 if you use the literal definition... otherwise, seems like a pretty standard list of things I don't want my nurse or doctor being guilty of when I'm sick and have to depend on them for medical care...

Also, Glad your AC is fixed and that you're feeling (even a little bit) better than yesterday. :hug:

So, I went to the doctor today. Apparently I have a major sinus infection. Yea!! Got a shot and a Z-pac. The shot was suppose to wire me for the night, but instead I feel drained, dizzy, and sick to my stomach. I did finish the book I was reading. And my lil sis got her first real job today. So all in all, not a bad day.

Congrats to your sister, glad you've got something to take care of your sinus infection... I wondered where you were, and it looks like my suspicion (gone to the doctor) was right. *hugs* Hopefully the z-pac kicks in soon, mon cher. I want you to feel better before Monday. What book where you reading?

Edit: On a side note, I burned myself really badly while making dinner.... three real nice sized blisters up the side of my left hand and my thumb is throbbing with a good 1st degree too... Yay for hot cooking oil and 2nd degree burns! > >

Just finished my breathing treatment. This is fixing to knock me on my butt. Albuterol makes me loopy than all the meds I took the other day. I just realized that what I thought was a sinus infection it not. I have acute sinusitis (which I mistook for a sinus infection. Dunno how I managed to next those up), and acute bronchitis. Ain't that just lovely??

Ouch, cher. That really sucks. *hugs tightly* You need to feel better soon. *tucks you into bed and brings you soup*
