Blushing Sam looked down at his feet as the bus pulled up. Its brakes squeaking as it came to a stop. Looking around Sam realized that there were others around him who seemed not to even have noticed what they spoke of or even that they were there. He waited as the other passengers got on the bus before holding out his hand to help Ursula and Ilsa up. “Do you think that he might be able to avoid talking about other reapers and about those around us doomed to die?” he slipped into the slot tickets for each of them before he really thought about it.

"Well, that's awful hard when you're going to see Anubis, who is a reaper himself, but I think he can try his best..It's hard though, he is the son of the first reaper ever to exist..Fate is surprisingly powerful, when he wants to be.Even Gwyn is scared of him..I can't say anything about that problem though, you would have to ask him..You really have gone deep with him, to have him take off his mask so willingly.He really hates those scars of his." Ursula said, sitting down on the bus alongside Ilsa and Sam.

“Well that is true, but he is also known as a God not just as a Reaper in my world. I do not see him as a Reaper.” Sitting down he pulled Ilsa up on his lap without thinking about it so she had a better view of what was going on around them. It was something a father would do for his child when they were going some where new. “I want to see a lot of things but I don’t know if I want to go to them knowing that this is the last time I will see them and feel what I feel.” The bus gained speed as they move away from their stop. “and what form of transportation would we use to get where we are to go?”

"He is still a god of death, which is affectionately called a reaper in our world.But I understand." Ursula said, smiling subtley at her daughter's cute smile, as she looked out the window of the bus. "Ilsa has never been to a zoo before in her life..You'll have to comfort her, she never has had a pet, either..She's not used to being close to animals."

Ilsa was mesmerized by the sights, a big cute smile on her face, giggling as she saw all the people and buildings zoom by.

"Often, Fate bends the world to his will..He appears and dissapears around his current mission area like you have seen Gwyn, and that young scout Ilsa talked to do, and he can also make any moving thing he's in go anywhere he wants..Like making an elevator go out from this inside of a building into a dark alleyway, or if his mission range is wide or if he has none, he can go anywhere he wants..So unless you want to take a plane, he'll probably use that method, but take you with him, like he did with the elevator from your office..I don't know how it works, as I can't do it yet myself..So I'm sorry for not being able to actually explain what it does."

“Never been to the Zoo?” Sam looked up at Ursula wide eyed in surprise. “I don’t think I could have lived in a city that had a Zoo and not go to it.” he thought on what was said about Fate’s talent. “well then he is going to have to just accept that I am not going to go popping from one point to another point. Even if it means I can see as many things I still will not go popping. I will take a bus, car or plane thank you very much.” He was looking out at the places they passed by through his eyelashes. Acrossed from them there was an older lady that smiled at Sam and Ilsa with a knowing look on her face. Sam could tell that she was thinking that he was Ilsa Father or he was a new boyfriend of Ursula that was really into having a kid with them. she seemed happy to see them all together.

Ilsa looked up at Sam and shook her head. "Nope, never..I've always been too busy with school and stuff, and Mama with work.I've always wanted to though.." The little girl looked over at the old woman wand waved cutely.She had changed something about herself to match that old woman's assumption--one eye. her eye color was close enough to Sam's darker eye that she kept one, and turned the other bright green, so she looked like Sam's daughter.She looked back up at her 'daddy' now that she had this change, and grinned cutely.

"I'm sure he will go along with that just fine..But..remember that Fate grew up before planes existed..And he died before they were invented.And ever since then, he's used this method.He has never been on a plane." Ursula chuckled a bit, seeming to be warming up to Sam. "Ilsa seems to like your eyes..I'd bet she'll keep the this way, get them to have her reaper eyes like this."

"Your eyes are even prettier than Herr Yates's are.." Ilsa giggled.

The old lady smiled sweetly and waved at Ilsa she had dimples and it only made her look like some ones grandmother. As the bus pulled to a stop she stood and smiled at Sam, Ursula and ilsa before stepping off the bus. “cute couple, cute kid.” She was heard saying as she walked down.

“well are you still assigned to me or do you have someone else to watch now? Cause if he is unable to fly in the plane I am going to need someone with me and I would like it to be you two.” Looking down he looked at Ilsa eyes and laughed. “I would never have said my eyes were pretty. They are more scary then pretty, most humans think it is evil.”

"We can come, there are plenty of scouts in the city, and Ilsa loves planes..I get a bit nervous, but I'll be fine.." Ursula blushed a bit.

"Mama, you're afraid of lots of things.." Ilsa said, in that cute, painfully honest way little kids did. "I think they're pretty..People who think they're scary are silly." Ilsa giggled, reaching up to grab one of Sam's curls gently, playfully. "But then again..A lot of humans think WE'RE evil, our race..People think death's a bad thing..It's really not that bad, unless you go in a bad way." She said, before looking back out the window.

The bus took off again and then slowed almost at once again. They had come to the Trasit station. Standing Sam slipped Ilsa onto his shoulders and carefully left the bus. When he reached to stop for the Zoo bus he looked around. There were only one or two people waiting there for the same bus. “good I really would like to keep you around, your not like the others.”

Ilsa giggled. "Thank you, Herr Teatime..Do you have an older brother who's like you? Mama needs a clone of you, then Fate and Mama can both love you!"

Ursula blushed deeply. "I don't..H-he's so much younger than me!"

(Or so she assumes, because I don't know his age.Ursula is like 35-37.)

“no Ilsa I am an only child, I don’t think there ever was talk of a sibling for me.” Sam said this reather sadly as they waited for the bus. Looking around he tried to think of anything other than him not having siblings. He had when he was younger wished for a brother or sister but his mother kept saying she did not have the time to make the order for a new brother. Now Sam thought that maybe it was his own eyes that had driven his mother to say no to another child. Hearing Ursula’s comment Sam quickly looked up at her then away. “I am only 32 I am not that old.”

"Oh..We are not that far apart then, I'm 36..I'm sorry, you look so young..I guess I shouldn't assume, seeing as my usual comrades are centureies upon centuries old but look young and handsome still.." Ursula said, seeming embarrassed at the fact that she assumed Sam was so much younger.

(Ursula obviously has a bit of a crush on Sam but she's no competetion, she knows him and Fate aren't breaking up anytime within the millenium, at least. :P)

“is ok don’t worry. I have a lot of people think that I am younger then I am.” Sam smiled up at Ursula as the bus pulled into the stop. As they got on board of the bus sam looked around and wished that they had not taken the bus. The bus was full with young kids and their baby sitters or nannys who were trying to get an easy day. Some where in the back of the bus was a young girl screaming her head off because she had been denied what she wanted. There was other sounds of unhappiness and a few of joy. “I did not think of this.” Sam looked worried as he stood there looking for a seat.

Ilsa giggled. "Hey..Herr Teatime?I can fix this, but you're going to have to do that thing you just said you wouldn't do to travel, just this once..It's one of the first things they teach us scouts, so we can get away from places fast, if we're spying on someone dangerous.." She said, looking down at Sam, as she still sat her head near his shoulders.

Looking around Sam sighed. “yes lets make the jump, I don’t want to have to deal with this bus.” He turned around and stepped off the bus. Smiling up at the bus driver he waved at them. “sorry we will take the next bus.” The driver nodded and closed the bus doors and drove off. “ok Ilsa do we need to find a place where no one can see or can you just jump?”

"Ahm.." Ilsa looked around, and pointed to a nearby shop. "walk in there, I need a door for us to pass through.I learned from Fate, not Herr Yates, so I don't know how to dissapear into a crowd like he can.." The little girl said, seeming a bit embarrassed that she could only do it that way, the way Fate did with the elevator at Sam's office.

“that is ok I like this way better. Passing through a doorway makes it harder for people to notice.” Walking towards the door he patted her hand as he walked. “and do feel embarrassed it is much better that way.”

Ilsa nodded, and as Ursula and Sam went through the door, they walked out of a building very close to the zoo entrance. "In mama's defence, she has taken me to the aquarium before..So it's not like I've never been anywhere.That place was fun, with the jellyfish and things.." She giggled, acting as if her massive teleport was a normal thing. "I'm guessing this is close enough..No doors closer, unless I cut directly into the zoo..Which is kinda awkward, I'm still learning so I might go through a door into an animal cage by accident.."

“actually I think you did very well getting us close for being not used to teleporting.” He smiled and reached into his pocket looking for some money to pay for them. “oh bothers I do not think I have the money to pay for all of us here.”

Ursula pulled her wallet out of her pocket and fingered through the cash she had a bit, counting it quickly. "I do, I can pay for us..It's my way of saying thank you, for being so kind to me and my daughter..You have allowed me to see men in a new light again.." She blushed. "Ever since my death, I've been so afraid of men..I think I might be beginning to heal, finally.."

"Aw, you're so cute Mama, you're acting like a teenage girl!" Ilsa giggled, making her mother blush deeper red.

Sam blushed. “well your welcome. I try to be nice. It is true there are a lot of guys that think woman are not as good as men. But there are those that are really nice too.” He smiled then stuffed the money back in his pocket. “well then you will have to let me buy the snacks.”

Ursula nodded. "Unluckily, my husband was the first type." She sighed, and paid for the tickets, smilign as Ilsa jumped off of Sam's back and rushed ot her side, eager to be the first in.

"La la la la la.." That tune..A well dressed man walked past, hair semi-long with scars on his face..Goddammit he was following, at least a bit.He had his earphones on, and just walked right past, not even glancing to the people around him, seeming to be shameless about his singing.

Sam tried hard not to look over at Fate as he walked by them. His fingers slowly moved out but then he stopped himself before he touched Fate. There was a small look of pain in his eyes, a bit of longing that never would be gone from him till he finely accepted what was to come and that he could live with hit. Turning back to Ilsa and Ursula he smiled a sad smile then fallowed Ilsa into the zoo. “So where would you like to go first Ilsa? I usually like to go to the penguin house first.” His smile trying to seem happy but now he worried that someone here was going to die as well. He had never realized how many people died around them and he never noticed. Now he felt so bad that he had not known there were others dyeing around him before this.
