yeah it's odd because it's the left over space from the setback for the house. lol

Most gardening I have done is plant some flowers in the spring and weed them. This past spring though, I just planted some. I want to continue doing that since my boyfriend's mom used to do it every year before she passed away. And it makes the yard look prettier.

*sighs and stretches* oKAY! I have now officially taken full advantage of this event! I entered 2 avitars in the costume contest, entered a monster in the art section, and wrote a scary story for that part of the contests. I have never done so much in an event before! and that is WITH my internet being all sketchy on me!

lol me too liztress. that is why i prefer other things over flowers in my garden. .-. i'm deathly afraid of bees.

the only bees that cause me fear are wasps. those things are horrible. they can keep stinging you, and generally do!

Crazymuch - Yes. I'm having a much less stressful time of it today than before! Before I was fretting that I wasn't doing enough towards giving everyone their candies. But now I think most people who want one have one and those who don't have been told they can just send me a trade, so it's more relaxing for me now. n_n

Wasps scare me too. u.u We had one big one fly in a few weeks ago and I had to leave the room until it was removed.

yes. i heard/saw a special that they're spreading because of christmas trees. because they get stuck in the christmas trees when they're shipped everywhere in the winter time.

they're super aggressive wasps. >_<

i'm afraid of anything that stings/bites because i'm allergic to most bug bites.

Yeah... I'm going to get a artificial tree. Or one from the local tree farm.

we are using the same artificial fiber-optic tree that we have used for the past 3 years again this year. it's tradition now. :lol:

I have no clue what we'll use this year. Normally, Wesley's mom decides if we get a real tree or fake one. And this is the first year she's been gone so... Anything is possible. I wouldn't mind a real one but man... They can get messy.

lol plastic does help to stop the cutting down of trees. ^^; and it's reusable too.

That it does. But there are places who sell the trees that can be planted after the holidays are over.

I think it's just a waste of a tree and money. it disgusts me every year to see all those trees just tossed out by the dumpster. at least the city picks them up for free and turns them into mulch. but still!
