The perfume coconut sounds intriguing. I'll have to find one of those someday, I love finding out about things I never heard of.

I'd totally buy one.
We have an Asian market here, but it's some distance from me... They sometimes have all sorts of things like different kinds of coconuts, and I totally want to ask them about them.
They get all sorts of stuff you never see anywhere else, even sea cucumber, so I'm sure they can wrangle me a perfume coconut.

Ooh, sea cucumber. Very nice if cooked properly. Otherwise it's tasteless and rubbery.

This thread is perfect! I pretend my social anxiety doesn't exist and generally I have done alright
I just read some of the previous posts and I guess I can just jump in with my comments. Asian markets are awesome! I love going there every month :)

Hi there.
Do you have a nickname you'd like to go by? Shall I just use your full username?
Because I want to call you Masky but that's almost exactly the opposite of your name.

Haha awesome! I really don't mind either way :) I got my username from a published fanfiction and have used it everywhere. It's never taken so that's a plus. How are y'all doing? Oh man my Texan accent is coming out lol
Haha romantic comedy? I saw it as a drama about a tortured soul wanting to love and be loved in return but not knowing how to go about showing that love properly.

I have to find the funny or it creeps me out. Too Quasimodo.
She's beautiful, I love her, gonna keep her. Without much caring if she wants to be kept.
My texan accent comes out sometimes but I've never been to Texas. Never been to England either but that slips out too. Someone at work asked me if I was from the UK "originally" and it got kinda weird when I explained I've pretty much always lived in Illinois.

I love Carlotta. She is comic relief. It can get pretty heavy. The one thing among many that I can't believe is Raoul beating Erik in the sword fight. Erik would have won that fight. Haha yeah I would keep Christine too but I wouldn't force her. But the way I see it, Christine chose Erik but he let her go :'(
Haha wow that's funny. Have you ever considered visiting the UK?

I didn't think Raoul winning was that much of a surprise, since he has a social life and all and probably had people to practice with, while Erik, despite being very talented and intelligent, pretty much lived alone by himself in the theatre all his life and had no one to practice with...

Hmm no I think I would disagree with that. We know he had his Punjab lasso and when he was working for the Shah and his wife some readers have inferred that he learned how to use a sword. But I ship E/C so I could just be trying to make Erik look good lol

Hmm it's a book first of all. The book Phantom of the Opera was written in 1910 or 1911 in France by Gaston Leroux. Then it became a silent film in 1925 and then it grew from there. I didn't elaborate because I honestly thought it was well known enough. Sorry.
And you're welcome!

Oh that's nice! And no problem, I think it really IS well known, it's just that Lexa has a totally different environment and doesn't know the basic things others here know about
