Sorry about my absence so far today. PC's motherboard decided today was a perfect day to start its eternal rest and thanks to a minor short-circuiting it caused, the power supply would likely have followed it in a day or two. Which pretty much qualified the darn thing as "repairable but damn sure not worth it" AKA "can get a good, working second-hand pc and put my current hard-disk in there for the same price-tag as repairing this one".

As a result, I spent most of the day tracking down proper-quality affordable second-hand pcs in my area online to buy one. Couldn't really find one, but my boyfriend had decided a few weeks ago that he'd rather have a laptop again, so in the end we swapped his current pc for a reasonably good second-hand laptop I bought him.

So now I'm back.

Very glad for that myself, yes. I basically was waiting for it to happen, though. Thing started showing more and more strange behaviour the past few days so I knew the motherboard would be calling quits sooner or later.

(The damn thing randomly shut itself off twice; booted itself up once and got itself near-crashed a few times, so it wasn't too unexpected)

I just had hoped later after actually having a replacement computer ready, but at least I managed to pick one up within a day. XD

I see. That's a pretty uncommon form of colour blindness/colour vision deficiency, I think.

Aren't red-green and blue-yellow the most common for partial colour blindness?
