I just got back from the bar, and I'm pretty tipsy. :D

I just wanted to let everyone know that Ubuntu 10.04 was released yesterday, and is available for download at Ubuntu.com. I'm using it now and quite frankly, it is fabulous.

P.S. Today is the last day that us people in Michigan are allowed to smoke in public places such as bars and restaurants. Completely bogus. Looks like it's time for me to quit smoking finally.

Pish posh. Just because you can't smoke in bars and restaurants doesn't mean you have to quit, lol. Mausy and I are still smokers and you can't smoke at the places where we are. :P But good luck, if you do still decide to do so. Only if you sprinkle some good luck quitting dust on me also, I'm starting to not be able to afford the habit, myself.

I can't even smoke one pack a day... lol. I've been smoking on and off since I was 17. The longest period of time I quit smoking was for 8 months out of my pregnancy (didn't find out I was pregnant until one month along).

My mom just pops one in right after she finishes the other. Its gross

So she's a constant chain smoker? Ugh, that makes my throat hurt just thinking about it. I only chain smoke when I'm drunk or seriously stressed out.

I do it only cause I'm around her and its all second hand. What sucks is the fact that they wouldn't take my school books back cause they smelled like smoke

Yeah. When you smoke inside, your house, as well as everything that's in it, will soak in the smoke smell. Non-smokers have friggin awesome noses. Smokers don't. Smoking kills your sense of smell as well as your taste buds.

They just did a new study on third hand smoke (which is on your hand when you smoke, your clothes, hair, etc). They say it's actually even worse than second hand. Especially for babies. That was another reason I'm thinking about quitting. Even though I don't smoke around her, it doesn't matter, because it's still on me and my clothes when I come back inside. Kinda freaky, in my opinion.

Speaking of which, talking about it makes me want to go burn one. Be back in a second.
