Eh, that's true. Maybe there is a time of year when the river is lower and thus calmer, and so people might be able to... though the safety of it would still be questionable.

In WV...most of the banks of the river are heavily wooded.

You do feel very vulnerable sitting out there in the middle of the water.

I like to roll a hotdog up in a flour tortilla with a slice of swiss cheese in it.

I'm not a huge fan of swiss - only every so often do I find myself liking it - but that does sound good. Not totally sure what we have in terms of wrappings for hot dogs (smart dogs) though.

Well, I had my hot dog.

Even though we're having chicken fajitas tonight, I figured eating a flour tortilla for lunch wouldn't bother me too much.

I ended up making myself a Chicken Taco. It was yummy!

And then I found myself in a super crafty mood this afternoon, and I found this pattern online and decided to drag out the felt and make this little guy. Just wanted to share it with y'all. ((If you can't tell, it's just about the size of those sugar peeps that you find in stores around Easter - at least they're in the States around Easter, not sure about elsewhere - but it's pretty small - approx. 1.8 in by 1.6 in). It's made of felt, and then the eyes are little black beads.

If I can find the right wire, I am going to make it little legs as well. =]

I'm rather proud of how it turned out. =] I'm sure I could find the pattern and share it on here if you want it. =] It just took me about 2 hours to make - mainly because I kept on getting distracted and starting to do the wrong stitches. *laughs*

Who are you going to give it to?

I may keep it (that is if my mom doesn't steal it. Lol!) - I was mainly making it to give myself something to do and see if the pattern that I found actually worked. I will probably be making others though - now that I know how to do it. It probably should take me as long for other ones if I do make them. :)
