so they are calling it a winter event? Well then it won't start until the 21st, if that is the case. I think that is more fun anyway, winter lasts longer. I wonder what they are planning...but i did see several event coordinators online, so I guess it makes sense they are planning something.

I'm really not sure what it's going to be called but I think last year's was more winter themed than Christmas themed, judging by the items.

Sorry for not responding, Daemon. I was forced to dinner and take care of the little kids. But I totally agree. There are people like that everywhere though and I think they should be kicked out of the class if they're not going to try. A month ago my Japanese teacher assigned a project. We had to make a powerpoint about a famous Japanese person or someone who had an impact on Japanese history. It wasn't hard. It only had to be a 5-10 minute-long presentation. In fact, the presentations took so long because we have 32 people in the class. So these people still didn't do it, even though they had two weeks! They should have gotten zeros... But our teacher gave them extra time. It made me so angry! Wow. We really do need a rant thread. :(

yea, my dad was military, discharged for medical reasons, my oldest bro was military and my other bro is, my uncle retired military, but that's it, no one else XD

For my family, it's always been the first born. It wasn't implied though because I never heard anything about a requirement. Maybe they don't really care as much because I'm the first daughter... Idk. It doesn't concern me much though...

that could've been induced by the draft that used to be in place, first born son was drafted unless he was their only son...
