Hello Iltu, dear! Thank you for asking! Of course I *love* to talk about my grandchildren.

It was my daughter inlaw (technically, my stepson's wife). They are all doing very well - we keep up on Facebook. Isn't technolog wonderful?

The only thing I haven't heard about yet is how their 2 year old daughter is taking to her new brother. I suspect there may be some problems there in the future. The 2 year old is used to having her parents all to herself.

Oh, I'm glad everyone's doing well! That's good to hear.

Uh-oh! Well, I hope she gets along with him alright, and that she doesn't feel too neglected. I was about three when my parents had my sister, and they say I took to her well, but who's to know what goes on in the mind of a child? According to home videos, I 'accidentally' hit her with plastic toys with alarming frequency, and did not like to share with her- with the dog, fine, with her, heavens no.

I hope the poor dear doesn't feel too neglected or anything! I imagine it's difficult having to share attention you're used to having for yourself- my older dog gets frustrated with the attention we split between him and the younger one quite a bit. He pushes him away with his nose, rips up his toys, and even drags him off into another room away from the people by his neck sometimes! *blushes* Of course, dogs and children are different, but it's still the whole wanting more attention thing.

What's the new baby boy's name, if you don't mind sharing?

The baby's name is Kyle James (his father's name is James). It's a nice name.

Yes, I'm on Facebook, Yuen, but I don't think I'd like to make that connection public here. Even though I talk quite a bit about real life here, I would still rather keep it separate.

I wish that more of my relatives were on Facebook. It's a very good way to keep in touch with everybody. Even better than email.

Oh, that is a nice name! Very down to earth and suave. ;)

I don't have a Facebook. I probably will end up getting one in college, though, to keep up with high school friends and perhaps family if they have Facebook accounts by then.

I know what you mean. I have a blog site, but i don't connect it to facebook or anything, cuz it just feels weird haha.

I don't really know the rest of my family's emails. I have numbers, but the family that I would like to talk to have different times zones so it can be hard sometimes. so the site makes it easier.

Yes, that's precisely the nice thing about Facebook. You don't need to remember different emails. It's like the old concept of a chain letter, only it's online.

I never really used email a lot.
Only except with a couple people.
But now I have to use it more to contact professors for college.

And the only way we could contact our professors was to wait by their office until they were free.

We used email and voicemail. Hanging out near their offices also worked.

Some teachers even give you phone numbers[cell phone] because they don't like emails.
My one friend had a teacher who didnt "believe" in emailing haha.
I don't really mind meeting with a teacher, well...as long as I can find their office.

My Native American Studies professor has the coolest office ever. Like think Indiana Jones's college office. XD

My, I never would have made it through school if I hadn't been able to talk to the professors.

That's my biggest piece of advice to college-bound students: Get to know your professor, and make sure he/she knows you.

Of course, for very large classes, that wasn't possible, but I found it very helpful for the professor to know who I was, and to know that I cared enough about his class to seek help from him.

The college I go to is fairly small.
So that isn't a problem.
I like my psychology and sociology professors.

That is one of the benefits of a smaller college - smaller classes.
My university wasn't really very large, but we had a few classes that had over 600 students in them.

600 O_O
I'm used to really small classes. I tend to do better that way. The most I've had in a class was 20-30.

I'm currently majoring in nursing. I want to be a pediatric nurse.
If I'm right, Mimi is majoring in nursing too.

I believe she is.

Nursing is a very good profession to get into. There will always be a need for good nurses.

I'm really excited to work in that area. Right now the classes are tough. But it'll be worth it.

You can work in any state you want, just by a recertification.

:3 I'm very pleased to hear that ^-^
I feel bad now for being sick, and for not being able to log on in the past few days.
Not only had I missed out a lot of items (luckily I still got them but now I have to get carrots >0< ) yet I also missed out some wonderful conversations and tea's >u<
