I have a plan, guys!

We should all gather up lots of yarn, save it, and then donate it all at a last-minute time; about where the Greed supporters won't be able to fight back, but not TOO late though.

@ Mignon: Yes! I'd received the same suggestion from Burnt Biscuit, and I do think that it would be a very sensible idea.

Hey Apocrypha!

Hello Hiriyuu!

My internet is trying to eat itself.

I restarted three times though, so I'm hoping that's the charm.

Only when my grandmother is fiddling with it. She's an enthusiastically paranoid woman, who likes to kill the wireless whenever she turns on her virus scanner. Trouble is, she's never entirely certain of how put it back together, so it throws fits for half an age

I'm patient with her; she's 72 years old and living on social security, so I sort of understand her paranoia about viruses. She uses the computer more than the average granparent, really, for video editing and such. She's just slightly newbish about the Big Scary Internet.

She really has grown over the years, though.

How are you doing, Mingnon?

Awww, I'm sorry that you're feeling unwell, Thothy!

What kind of sick is it?

My day has been alright. Neither here nor there, I guess. I helped my grandmother move the king sized bed that she and my grandpa used to sleep in... my aunt and uncle picked it up, and now she's sleeping in a single sized bed. That was difficult.

I'm also cleaning.

You can tell that I'm a wild and crazy party girl, right?

What have you been up to?

You're welcome!

I'm doing wonderfully too. My New Year's plan is to hang out with my best friend-- movies and Rock Band. Quite spiffing, I think.

Only one more year before she's old enough that we can finally go clubbing together! So we're savoring this New Year's as the last Movie Festival. :P

Are you excited about your New Year's plans?
(I'm avoiding Resolutions, but I can feel them stalking me.)

:P Totally get your confusion. I'm sleepy-face, but physically healthy.

I always feel sad when a Menewshan friend is sick. Normally, when I'm talking to a friend from school and discover that they're sick, I descend in a flurry of blankets and hot soup to nurse them.

On Menewsha I never know what to do. :|

Oooh :3 Yes, since we're having a party here in our house. Well, almost every home here in our country celebrates. It's something special for us. Oh, and we have fireworks of every sort in every street. Some are noisy, some sounds like a gunshot, and some are just beautiful.

It is frustrating.

@Mingnon: You're using the timer right? The sound still makes me jump, every time. I feel like a Pavlovian experiment. :P

@Apo: That sounds so wonderful! I wish that the area I live in had that kind of wide-scale celebration.
We don't have fireworks close to my house-- people mostly watch them on TV, which is far less exciting. A lot of people go out to clubs and parties to celebrate, and some stay at home and watch the ball drop to celebrate.

New Year's is one of my favorite holidays, though.

Eeps!

It's here if you want to use it. It really helps increase the amount of yarn you get per hour. Otherwise, I'd get completely distracted.

But, sometimes, because of fireworks, some people's fingers are less than 10.

So... does the timer do anything besides make some jump-making sounds? Like make the tab its on blink?
