Mental-- Varies, but duties are forced to be carried out by higher beings called Fates [see: three uglies what share an eyeball and snip the threads of life]. Range from sadistic to sympathetic.
Other-- Crimes are related to witchcraft. Are sent to prevent deaths that are going to happen sooner than the fates have determined they should.
