when menewsha was rolling in cash money
they were able to cater to the lurkers of the forum as well
the one i remember the most was the jubilee

i actually remember one of my friends not going to sleep until they found one more of the floating thingers

Our last fancy Phoenix Jubilee was AWESOME! I got a ton of currency and everyone was like, "Whut?" The theme was just so cool, too.

i find that a lot of people are doing that
only making time to go on during events (i do the same)

and because of that it gets really dead in the forums which
in turn
makes more people only come on during the events when a ton more are active

if you dont interact with people the event get boring fast

Yep, pretty much. I'm not asking for much, either. Just a background change would make everything feel so much more festive. >_<

I have trouble concentrating without visual stimulation, so the every-day look of events makes me forget that there's an event even going on...so i start watching hulu and going on gaia or playing video games...because...wait, there's an event going on?

Well there are only a handful of items I want. King or Queen crown, Pudao of Time, and V-day Pin.

those handful of things cost a fortune!

I had a queens crown but I sold it cos I liked the kings crown better. I think I sold my crown ands my bertie too cheap though. I feel badly asking for my friends to pay full price however. I think I sold my queens crown at a 2k loss. :/

Only a 2k loss for something that expensive isn't that bad.

well you have to make clear WHEN monstahh make that 2k loss.
a 2k loss at year 2012 is not the same with a 2k loss in 2008.

A 2k loss in 2007 was 10 new CIs too.
