i like wearing hats in the summer. cause i'm sunblind. But I do hate how hot it makes me. I'm thinking of cutting my hair. but i'm afraid i'll look terrible with short hair. xD

If they made proper sunglasses for glasses wearing people that didn't look like arse on a tiny face i wouldn't need to wear a hat >.<

Though at one point I had prescription sunglasses and I had kids frames for them. They were the only ones that looked good on my face.

my insurance doesn't cover transitions.. and i still need a hat even with them. xD when i did have them,.

I haven't done much crafting lately. I did manage to get the last piece of a quilt top put together, just need to sew it on yet. Almost didn't have enough fabric to finish it since I messed up cutting some of it but I managed to piece enough scraps together to make it work.

I'm still working on the same crochet project. Didn't do any work on it for awhile. Just started back on it again. I'm hoping I don't need too much more yarn to finish it. I may need maybe two more skeins to do an edging once my blanket is done. I'm just about halfway done. I've got four more skeins yet. I'm hoping that'll be enough to finish.

I am busily working away on my lap quilt. It's rather relaxing.

i have .. let's see. a ravenclaw scarf, and a moogle plushie being worked on atm.

I have thought about making myself a Hufflepuff scarf.

......and when you're done with the Harry Potter scarves, I wants them all!


I'll be working on some stuff for one of my best bud's wedding.....(she's marrying my brother, awwww) so if I make anything cool, I'll post it.

well technically. i was going to try top open an etsy store once i figured out how. and got the scarves learned. It's my first scarf so its not fancy. it looks like the ones from the movies though. just basic stripes ^^;;

I was thinking of finding verigated yarn with the house colors. I think that would be neat.

i made a hat for my friend in california out of this... "rainbow" one. i thought the colors were kinda... ugly. xD but hubby picked it out saying our friend would like it. he did. but he also agrees that its an awful color. but he wears it anyways. xD

I found cool variegated yarn in pink camo, green camo, and blue camo. Made scarves for these three kiddos I know. That was my Christmas gift for them one year.

i think they have the camo yarn at my walmart...

Then you can hide in the cold weather too!
