CINNAMON POP TARTS ARE ADDICTIVE.
I ate carrot sticks right from the refrigerator like candy when I was tiny.
PEANUT. BUTTER. COOKIES. Oh, and Reese's.

I have an all natural peanut butter that is hand made by the amish. No preservatives.
Its actually lovely on carrots or celery.

I do not like the processed peanut butter.
I get my peanut butter handmade from my local co-op. They have peanut machines that smush the peanuts into paste.
I also sometimes get a natural almond butter that only has almonds, Palm fruit oil and sea salt as its ingredients. (It's called Justin's)
Peanut butter is actually one of the worst things you could eat! (Talking about Jif and Peter Pan and Skippy brands, anyway.)

Pickles make everything taste good.
Have you ever had pickles and ice cream? Or pickles with vegan mayo? Ugh! So good!

I don't like poptarts.
They have too much of the tasteless pastry and not enough filling.
I don't eat poptarts anymore unless they're the organic kind. So maybe that's why I don't like them? I dunno. I always felt like poptarts are just kind of gross. :x

so what about clothes, do you like wear hemp shirts and stuff like that? the reason I ask, is that my neighbour, the one I said went on a round the world trip with her baby, was a new age traveller before she fell pregnant. and, being the modern age hippies that they are, she's into alot of the things you talk about here. organic foods, natural sanitary towels, that sort of thing. she also wears only natural clothing. so I was wondering if you did the same

That's a good question!
I don't really worry so much over whether or not my clothes are made of organic cotton, though I do have a lot of organic panties laying around. I'm more of the type of person to buy clothes that are made by people who hand make clothes and non-sweatshop clothes. So I end up paying a lot for clothes from American Apparel and specialty shops. I also make my own clothing, (though it's not great.) so when I can, I use natural fabrics.
Plus, here in Minnesota, there is not very many places that sell natural clothing. In California, I'm definitely going to buy a lot more natural clothes, as it's more available. I mean, so available, I walked into the local co-op there and they sold shirts and dresses made with organic cotton, upcycled jeans, shoes, everything!
So, someday, I will. Today is not that day, though.

Tell me about it, Amane! I want to know these things, I will check it out.
I don't buy too much at American Apparel because it's so expensive and I'm really poor.
;-; But I do love the stuff there, and I like that they're sweatshop free and I love their "Legalize Love" wear.
I dunno. I've yet to find anything horribly wrong with American Apparel, but maybe I'm just ignorant.

Off-topic...
D; I want to rant, but I don't want to go to other threads to rant so I may as well rant here because it's my own thread, so I can do what I want.
People tell me I'm full of myself and I'm like, ._____.
I'm sorry I'm not walking around with my head down, crying, telling everyone how ugly and stupid I am. I'm sorry, I didn't know it was a sin to feel good about yourself and tell people that you're proud of being who you are and that you think you're beautiful. Hell, I'm sorry, I didn't know that I needed someone else to approve of me before I can feel good about myself.
UGH. PEOPLE.
Honestly, the whole reason why I even started on my natural journey was because I wanted to feel good about myself and I wanted to be healthy and not feel shitty all the time. I wasn't always this confident. It took years of feeling inferior and feeling like shit to get to where I am today. I didn't just wake up and go, "Damn, I am so fucking amazing." Noooooo.... It took years of waking up and going, "Damn, why can't I just fucking die..." before I got to that point.
And I'm NOT EVER going to let ANYONE make me feel inferior, or stupid, or ugly, or unworthy ever EVER again. I don't care what people say about me. Go ahead, tell me I'm full of myself, get mad at me, don't talk to me, whatever. You're never going to make me not think I'm fucking awesome because I am. I am awesome, I'm beautiful, I'm lovable. I'm amazing. I'm the shit and I will NOT let you take this happiness away from me. I've worked too hard to get here to let some jealous weasel try to make me feel bad.
....
*says all this and realizes she actually feels kind of bad*
Whatever! I'm not going to let it bring me down... even if I do cry about it a little.

Oh yes, people are always harping on how American Apparel sexualizes their products.
I can't remember where I found this, but on one of their ads for a bodysuit one of their models had stretch marks all over her thighs and they chose not to edit that out. I dunno if they just missed it, or if they intentionally left it there, but it always made me feel pretty good to see a model with stretch marks for a big name company.
I totally get the sexualization thing, though. It makes people uncomfortable. (I kind of like the sexualized look, it's kind of empowering to me, but maybe I'm just weird. I am all about being comfortable with being sexual) But then, the same thing happened with Abercombie and Fitch and no one really cared. :\
I haven't heard of their child labor issues, though. I'll have to ask around about that.

*raises glass* I love good attention and I don't even care.
I've seen stretchmarks compared to lightning bolt scars and tiger stripes, but no matter what, I want them GONE.
Cranky Corner. Have you seen it?

I love good attention top, Amane. :P But if no one gives it to me, I just give myself attention.
I don't like stretch marks either, but I don't really do anything about them. I gained a lot of weight last year and now I have stretch marks all over my stomach and my butt, then I lost the weight and my stretch marks are still there.... Why don't they go away after I lose weight?!
I haven't seen it! I googled it and realized that was a place in Louisiana then I was like, "that can't be right", then just as I came here to post this, I saw the Cranky Corner thread and I was "Oh, that's what she's talking about!" I will definitely utilize that thread more often. I rant a lot.

I'll probably try all kinds of creams on those monsters when no one's telling me what to do. Looking at them literally makes me angry. Pretty much, they're scars under the top layer of skin.
LOL. A bit too far there.

there's nothing wrong with a little self love to boost self esteem and raise the level of self image. in fact, telling yourself in the morning mirror that you're beautiful makes you exude beauty (self confidence will do that) so much so that other people can feel it when you walk into a room. its probably something to do with pheromones, body language, and facial expressions, the primary human mechanisms of communication *looks in the mirror* "hey, millionaire." ok, so its not a perfect system, but hey, if it works, it works. right?
oh, and almond oil. for the stretch marked I mean, not just as a random word to shout out. it works just as well as any high prices cosmetic fakery (because they don't really work) and its a natural product that's good for your skin anyway
beware of multi-corporational propaganda aimed at slating companies which sell natural/homeland products. all the big 'mainstream' companies (Nike, Addidas, Levi, MacDonald's etc) outsource their labour to sleazy factories in China, Korea, or Malaysia (just read the label) where men and women with children to feed are annually paid a fistful of pennies for manufacturing a produce which has no value/meaning in their own society, but is eagerly sought after in the west. yes, its a tragedy that there are rag trade crimes committed on home soil, but these things only hit the news because the outsourcers use it to deflect from their international sinnery. besides, American Apparel are changing their image
