Our family doesn't ever buy pickles so we don't have that problem. ; The only time I come across pickles are the sliced ones in my BigMacs...

Gor, those things are good. Nasty-good. XD I love them.
On the rare occasions when I'm able to buy pickles I get them from a lady I know who makes them herself.
She does a lot of home canning, and they cost a bit for a jar, but they're so good I hide them from everyone, so I get to eat them all myself. XD

I'm usually not too fond of sour stuff, so I don't eat pickles by themselves. ;
I love BigMacs and gooey cheeseburgers.

I like the little chopped up onions they put on them, and the way they mix all the condiments together.
And their french fries are awesome.
Yeah, not everyone's into sour stuff, but then there are sweet pickles and spicy ones, too.
But yeah, as an accessory to a cheeseburger, they go great. A little sweet, a little sour, some cheese, some meat, some bread, it all goes nice together.

Oh yeah, gotta love the onions.
French fries depends. Sometimes they're good when they're fresh out of the fryer, other times...not so much. I've had cold soggy ones before. Blech.
Not a fan of sweet or spicy either. Got any salty pickles?

Ah, those would be brine pickles.
See, some use vinegar to preserve them, and some use brine (salt solution).
Dill pickles use dill to mellow the vinegar a bit, sweet pickles use sugar for the same thing, and spicy... you get the idea.
Brine pickles are awesome, too. They're the salty ones.

No prob. I got lots of pickle lore in this brain of mine. I don't even know where I got it.
Now I want to start making pickles at home. That could be fun. And then I'd eat them all. XD

Those awesome, fancy coconuts?
I still want to try one. I forgot what kind you said they were, the special, less common ones.

Oh the perfume coconuts? They're nice but rather expensive. We've only had them a few times.

I'm not even sure if that's what they're called in English. I just translated the name directly from what people around here call them.

Yeah, I googled it and got nothing but coconut oils and coconut perfumes. XD
Send me the words written out sometime and I'll take a copy to the Asian Market. That's how I got them to understand I wanted garlic chives. I showed the lady with the words in Chinese, and she's like, "Oh! These!" and pointed them out immediately.
I like garlic chives in scrambled eggs with tomato. It's popular in China, and a friend of mine came back from there and couldn't find the chives anywhere and I got him to write it for me so I could find them.
Now we have them all the time.

Here you go! :) Not sure if it's just a name that market sellers gave them to 'up the hype' or something though. Could be called something else entirely.
...I had to look up what garlic chives were on Google. xD;;
I love 韭菜炒蛋! It's super yummy, though I haven't had them scrambled with tomatoes before. O_o;
Scrambled eggs with basil leaves is also super yummy. o wo
