My godmother used to have a cat that her husband named "Manson" after the killer. It would go up into the rafters and then launch itself down and attack people.

every time i pack a box or luggage she freaks

feel comfortable 'at home' with me

@Miro - All fair points. Having a pet that will be happy that you're rubbing its belly and clawing at you the next really isn't my idea of a good time, but a lot of owners in the cat cult just take is as part of ownership. The cat cult is scary. And there's a distinction between just a cat owner and a person in the cat cult. Cat cult is crazy. I think they all have toxoplasmosis thanks to their "loving" fluffy overlords...
Marvel Puzzle Quest is my Bejeweled type crack of choice.
Oh wait, there is a real cat cult? That is disturbing.
I can understand not declawing cats that are outdoor pets.
Those kinds do need protection but then again..
You could argue that its inhumane to make them outdoor pets because they could get stolen (might be killed), run over, get infested with fleas, might end up with ticks and etc. Theres always something to not like xD
Our cats we have now still have claws, it can be annoying, they do sometimes scratch stuff, but for the most part they're pretty subdued. As for them scratching us, as long as you read their warning signs, it's not really a problem. The only one we ever really had to watch was my sister's cat, she would scratch if you head was to close to her, nearly got Gwen in the eye twice, but fix was simple, watch your head wasn't close to her if she was laying on the back of the couch.

luckily the vet that always captured her was a no kill
she was all matted up so they had to shave her bald!
i still see the vet and he loves that i rescued her <3
When I was little, we had a cat named Smokey. I only know what I was told (I was only 2), but my parents had him de clawed, and he ended up with some kind of aggression syndrome because of it, my dad had animal control come get him because he learned to use his back claws instead, but of course now really aggressive. We haven't de clawed any of our cats since.
eh, that is terrible. But that seems rare to me.
We've had ... um ... about 10 different cats?
And none of them ever had problems.
I guess some cats cant handle it and maybe something bad happened during the exp.
That's really cool, hummy! Most of our cats we're rescued from outside too. Except for the kittens one had, which were born in the house, none of them are left now though. We just have Charlie and Fluffy.

well that's so awesome. i've had a few strays as pets.. and i've had to reassure all of them i was coming back..
@Miro - Nobody calls it the cat cult but me. I think only people outside of cat cult recognize that people are in cat cult. Cat cultists are the people that claim that cats are THE BESTESTESTEST PET EVER ON THE EARTH and think that everything they do is perfect and they are lucky that cats deem them worthy of love and cats caqn do nothing wrong. That kind of mentality. Toxoplasmosis might contribute to and amplify those sort of ideas.
