I had always wanted to work from home.
Then I started working from home and found that I missed the interactions with people in the office.

Well, now I'm retired, and I have NO interactions with anybody
(except you guys).

Yup. I've been retired since 2007.

IBM paid me big bucks to tell others what to do and make charts.
It was an ideal job....

I paid for my own schooling.
Folks couldn't afford to help out. Other than a couple bucks now and then for food...

yeah i paid for my own tuition for college and i will be paying off for the master's program since i've been working since high school. she is a single parent so she feels more secure retiring after i get my master's. XD

Then she'll want you to support her!

yup that's the whole point. she will most likely be living with me until i die.

everyone's situation is different. a few of my friends who are in their late 20s are living with their parents and some aren't.

I hope by my late 20's i am married and living on my own.
