Winter, yes, and its delicious! Granted, I've only been there less than a handful of times in my life, but it's like half restaurant/buffet and its kind of like a steakhouse sort of.

I love Chinese food and I think I'm probably one of the only people in the world who dislikes Chinese buffets. >__>; Maybe the ones I've been to just suck? I just don't even find the food as appealing as it would be in a "real" Chinese restaurant.

You have to go to China for a real Chinese restaurant. Or New York/San Francisco xD

Well yeah, you don't go to Chinese buffet for good Chinese food Ferra. XP Chinese buffet are for those inebriated and/or hungover times where you want to gorge yourself on fried Chinese-American goodness. XD

@Sizzla: I must have some pretty drunk friends then since they all used to sing the praises of Chinese buffet but I was never impressed. XD

@Seiki: Which is why I put "real" in quotations. XD I know it's not true Chinese cuisine, but writing Chinese-American food is tedious when the term Chinese food is understood to mean the same thing. I don't think people in China refer to their food as Chinese food anyways... *rambles*

That aside, we have some pretty good restaurants around where I live, especially down in the international district. ^^

xD Not a fan of chinese buffets either. Take out and regular restraunts (NOT PF CHANGS) are good though. There is this one chinese restraunt in Daytona that I absolutely LOVE. Everytime we do to daytona (almost every year) we go there <3

I used to not be able to tell the difference between bad and good Chinese buffets. They all seemed the same to me.. average. But now I've come across some terrible ones and some really nice ones. ^^;; I know which places I want to go over others.

My dad's always like "BUFFET tonight?!" XDD I'm like, "Well not that place down the street. >>;"

The run down chinese restraunts on the outside are usually the best. xD The one down the road from us is GREAT.
Heck, a run down looking Japanese stir fry around here is the best as well. ^^

We have had about.... Oh... five or six Chinese buffets in our area at one time or another. Some of them were very good and some of them were cheap eats. The latter are fully out of business now.

I enjoy going to them, in general. If they're good, they're worth the drive.
